I did not like how the mom was acting but when your on drugs this is what people do. It is a good movie and I am glad the dad stepped his game up where the mother was concern even after finding out in a bad kind of way that the daughter was not even his.
I loved this movie. It was raw and real. You don't see Hill Harper in roles like this and he nailed this one. Good job by the entire cast. I didn't care for the ending because I wanted more.
Overall its a decent story. You get drawn into the characters and you feel compassion for the lead character - Hill Harper. Its not often these days you see a drama told from the perspective of a black male lead. This is definitely a refreshing departure.
Very good movie with a all star cast. The movie was very informative and the plot was on target in expressing the drug epidemic of the year 1982. And Hill Harper was fantastic. This movie you will definitely enjoy.
