Better produced and executed then 1st Fast & Furious

Obviously the second in the Fast and Furious franchise. This one didn’t have Vin Diesel and starred Paul Walker instead. It also introduced two new characters that would become mainstays played by Tyrese Gibson and Ludacris. The film was directed by John Singleton.

This time Paul Walker is recruited by the Miami police to infiltrate a drug lord’s crew. He brings in his friend Gibson to help him out. They’re assisted by undercover cop Eva Mendes.

Like the previous movie all the emphasis is upon young people playing with fast cars and crime. It was better produced and executed then the original. That obviously meant more cars and more stunts. A perfect example is when Walker and Gibson are being chased by the police and they dart into a garage. Then the doors open and dozens and dozens of cars fly out confusing the police about which ones contain Walker and Gibson. It also had a funny ending. That’s why it’s one of my favs in the series.

I had to write a wrong!

So I was telling one of my daughters about seeing the recently released Fast Nine and she mentioned that she had never seen any of the entries in the Fast and Furious oeuvre. "Where did I fail as a parent, as a father?" I asked myself, and then set about rectifying the problem. This was one of those efforts.

Unfortunately, I discovered two things during the viewing of this and other movies:
1) The Theory of General Fast and Furiousity holds that, at any given time, any Fast and Furious movie is being shown somewhere on the television, either on cable or a streaming service. I found this to be false. My fellow scientists and I will recalibrate our data and investigate further.
2) You can lead a twenty-something daughter to Toretto, but you can't make her watch. Despite the high-octane action, insane stunts and amazing amounts of cheese, my daughter simply wasn't entertained. Maybe if I introduce the drinking game element. My fellow scientists and I will recalibrate our data and investigate further.

Funny, hot chicks and fast car—what’s not to like

Paul Walker and Tyrese are perfect for each other. They are a dynamic duo. Eva Mendez is hot and feisty and I like that. The story is very simple. It’s all about cars and chicks..if you enjoy some jokes and some actual car racing then buy this movie. I give it a solid 7 out of 10.

I will watch this fantastic movie probably 500 times

Fast-packed action from start to finish, I loved this movie very much. Both Paul Walker and Tyrese were fantastic in their driving skills, interactions between each other and the story was very believable. I hadn't seen any of these Fast And Furious videos and because of Paul Walker's tragic demise, I decided to purchase two of the movies here on Amazon.com. Thank Heavens for being able to purchase out of date books and movies on this wonderful website. It gives those of us the chance to catch up to seeing and reading about matters people have long been speaking about. R.I.P. Paul and your friend, Roger Rodas.

Fast cars, hot guys, sexy women, great story...

A great movie in the series, a must watch over and over again! Walker and Gibson compliment each other in dynamic duo ways. Missing most of the F&F characters... was the only downside of the movie.

I love the F&F movies series!! The only downside for me with this one is that Dom and Co aren't in it, but I like how it ties everyone together!!
