Cancel or Transfer Anytime
Customers receive a full refund if they cancel within the first 90 days. Refunds are pro-rated after that. Transferring your protection plan is free and can be done online or over the phone.
We'll e-mail your protection plan to you within 24 hours of purchase (remember to check your spam folder if you don't see it).
How does it work?
Call 1-866-374-9939 from 6am to 10pm PST, 365 days a year.
We'll ship you a replacement device (same or newer model depending on availability). You'll also receive a pre-paid shipping label to send your damaged device back to us (must have a valid credit card on file in order to receive a replacement).
Return your damaged device within 30 days from reception (otherwise you will be charged the price of the replacement).

- Upon purchase, you'll receive an e-mail within 24 hours. This will be your official purchase confirmation.

- Start Date: Plan begins on the date your device is delivered, or on the plan purchase date if you already have your device and are purchasing a plan within 90 days of device purchase, and is inclusive of the manufacturer's warranty period. If you have an issue and are covered by the manufacturer at that time, you'll be directed to the manufacturer first.

First off I had no idea that they don't send a paper copy of the insurance. I think this is unless you ask for one? I honestly complained because I was expecting something through the mail, and when I complained they apologized and explained that the insurance is "digital". But, without asking and after hearing my complaint they sent me and paper copy. I was happy about that. :)Very cool of them.
Another thing is that I don't know why I saw comments stating that this doesn't cover the Kindle voyage with 3g... because they certainly covered mine. My Kindle was physically damaged in my luggage. All I did was call Kindle customer support up and explained that mine was physically damaged. Immediately they sent me one out that day and I received it the next day. (So awesome) I did send back the damaged one wi h the same box the new Kindle arrived in. They also explained that it (broken kindle) needed to be sent out within 7 days of receiving the new kindle.
I'm very happy about this insurance.
Also, free return of the defective one and 2 day shipping a new one right out.
And what blows my mind most of all is you can cancel the plan anytime, even if you have used it. They just refund the remaining months back to you.
That is what my policy said for my protection plan on the kindle voyage!

Yes, my card was charged immediately, yet I did not receive the plan so I guess the plan never starts.
