I love this series. I’m a series woman anyway and this one keeps me reading. The characters aren’t simple or sappy. They have issues, but they cope. Sometimes I laugh, sometimes I feel validated. I don’t read to cry, I read t I relax. This series fills that cup. I enjoy everything Stephanie Bond writes, except Coma Girl. My son spent some time in a coma and I can’t seem to go there.

I love Stephanie Bond's style; her books are fast-paced, funny, filled with red-hot passion and lots of excitement, but this series has left a very sour taste - I raced through books 1 through 4, barely able to wait to crack the next cover to find out what mysterious/romantic adventure would befall Carlotta. Each book is written as a cliff-hanger; there is not a "temporary" ending to help soothe the wait. All well and good, as long as there is relief on the horizon. However, book 5 seems to do more unraveling than weaving the plotline, book 6 even more so, and... Horrors!! The rest of the series appears to be on more or less permanent hiatus, awaiting a possible TV series that doesn't actually seem to be in the works. I am very disappointed that the publisher and/or Stephanie Bond have opted for the same anti-reader ploy of Charlaine Harris's Sookie series. I'm not sure that I wish I'd never started this series, but I am indeed sorry that I'll probably never get to see how Carlotta's tale ends. Since I do wish I'd been warned beforehand, this is my caveat to all readers desiring an eventual plotted (and definitely foreseen) finish. You'll get sucked in, you'll love it, - and then you'll hate it...

If you've read any of the "Movers" books, you know the idea. If you haven't, I'm just going to say, 5 was not the best, but it's a fun read. If your addicted to her series, you must read it.

I don't expect a genuine pick of sweethearts in the book. After all, the anxiety of the main character between three possible beaus is great. I would like it better if Ms. Bond would give the main character more time with each guy. Perhaps a book for each, That could go on for quite some time. It reminds me of Janet Evanovich and the Stephanie with Ranger or Morelli books. They just go on and on.

Having read all of the "Body Movers" series (in order), this was just a continuation of the already introduced plot. A serial killer is loose in Atlanta and our hero, Carlotta Wren is up to her designer clothes in the murders. This entire series has been a good mixure of humor and suspense. You really start to see Carlotta, her brother Wesley, and their circle of friends grow and develop through the series. I am kinda anxious for Carlotta to get on with her love life, since she seems to have three very good prospects. There are two additional books in this series, with a new installment promised for 2012. I will be looking forward to all of them.

I've purchased all of the books in the series to 6 1/2 or 7 and have mot come to any conclusion on the possible solving of the crime by Randolph, I trust that another book in the series will conclude this cliff hanger. either keep writing the story and the life of Carlotta or end it with a conclusion.
I've followed the evanovich series up to book twenty two and they at least end with a conclusion.
