I have a 34" USCutter plotter that has has the same stock blade in it for the last year.
I got a large die cut contract, so to make sure my client received the best product possible, I ordered fresh blades. Big mistake. I used two different 60* blades, and despite numerous adjustments, both on the blade holder itself, as well as to cut pressure, these blades made jagged cuts. The edges looked perforated, and weeding was a nightmare. The only way to get anything close to clean cuts was to increase the cut pressure so much that it overplotted into the backer paper.
Ive been told that Roland is the cream of the crop for plotters, so I ordered their blades thinking I would get better quality than whatever super cheap blades USCutter threw in with my plotter. Either Roland products are WAY overrated, or these are garbage being packaged as Roland blades.
Either way, I went back to the 1 year old 45* blade and the cuts were super clean. Now I need to find out where to get more of these blades.
