A Game-Changing Christmas: In the Heart of A Valentine Series, Book 4 Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
Two prominent families. A six-year rivalry. A common enemy.
In this season of giving, love is in the air for the Rose and Valentine families. Because of the addition of in-laws, they both are in pursuit of new land and developments to build lasting memories with the ones they hold dear.
So when they submit bids against one another, their rivalry heats to a level that will bring them to a head; until they both become outbid by a new competitor. On the heels of a love affair brewing, the need for a partnership arises that may shut down the foundation of their feud permanently, or possibly, extend it.
Can the families put aside their pride to reach their ultimate goal and mend fences? Or will their feud continue with no end in sight?

books so far. However, I would like to point out an opportunity for improvement. I am not sure of the process or who checks Miss Norris’ work, but I would love to see mproved editing especially in terms of spelling, grammar and usage of words relevant to their meaning. I hate it when I am so engrossed in the story, then there are all these misspelled words that just interrupt the flow; and I have to stop to figure out what is meant. Please! This author deserves to put out a polished version of her books. She is that good! The misspelled words etc. just takes away from an otherwise great work. I hope that someone sees this and do something quickly.
It was nice getting snippets of what's going on in these couples' lives that included both the Rose and Valentine families. We got a beautiful Valentine wedding, a birth, a pregnancy surprise, a secret elopement, and the beginnings of a new relationship. This was a nice novella.
Ms. Norris's talent for story-telling is outstanding, but I hate to see that amazing talent get overshadowed by pesky little grammatical errors throughout the story. With that being said, I love Ms. Norris's romance world, and I always look forward to her books.
I hadn't read the books in a while, so it took me a while to get the lay of the land. There were a LOT of people in this book. There was way too much going on at once. I didn't remember anything about the King of Whatever being in previous books. Then all of the King's children were mentioned. Between the Rose's, the Valentine's the royalty, and the spouses, I was confused.
I was kind of surprised at the way the restaurant and subsequent hospital situation played out at the beginning. Can we say too much drama? Especially between people that didn't really know one another. But, it was interesting how it worked out after I read further into the book. I was glad that the basis of Jonathan and Lance's feud was restated, because I did not remember what caused the feud.
This was a face paced read that had a lot going on, but ended in a resolution of issues, some celebratory news, a possible new beginning, and a Christmas HEA.
I have to finish reading Lance's book since I started and stopped to read this one.
The Royal Family is very intriguing and I'm wondering if they each will have a book of their own. I'm seeing some Valentines men still unattached lol 😂 for the twins.
