About A J Newman
AJ Newman is the author of 38 science fiction and mystery novels. He also has 9 audiobooks that have been published on Amazon and Audible. He was born and raised in a small town in the western part of Kentucky. His Dad taught him how to handle guns very early in life, and he and his best friend Mike spent summers shooting .22 rifles and fishing.
Reading is his passion, and he read every book he could get his hands on. He fell in love with science fiction. He graduated from USI with a degree in Chemistry and made a career working in manufacturing and logistics, but always fancied himself as an author.
He served six years in the Army National Guard in an armored unit and spent six years performing every function on M48 and M60 army tanks. This gave him great respect for our veterans who lay their lives on the line to protect our country and freedoms.
He currently resides in Henderson, Kentucky, with his wife Patsy and their four tiny Shih Tzu’s, Sammy, Cotton, Callie, and Benny. All except Benny are rescue dogs.
Quote from AJ Newman:
"I have always been a fan of Science Fiction and Mystery novels and wanted to write a novel since I was 10 years old. I try to make my characters become the kind of people that you see in your neighborhood and place them in life-changing situations. Only then, can you tell how they will react and their true character. None are role models just like the rest of us in this world. My heroes rise to the occasion and do what it takes to survive and beat the bad guys. My villains are bad and deserve what they get. I'm not into political correctness. God created all people equally. What they do after birth makes them heroes or villains."

Post-Apocalyptic Survival Fiction - Book 1
The apocalypse slowly rolled across the world without much notice except for the riots and looting. There weren't any bombs, EMP blasts, grid failure, or natural disasters to blame, as you always find in those post-apocalyptic novels. At 58 years old, Jeff Mann had read dozens of those apocalyptic sci-fi novels, and all were wrong. The cause was the incompetence of the world's governments and the failure of the many financial Ponzi schemes. First, the riots and looting came, and then starvation and depravity followed. The billionaires built safe compounds while everyone else died off or fought to survive the holocaust at the end of the modern world. Jeff begins a crusade against human trafficking after saving two women from slavers. Can one man and two women make a difference in a world gone mad?
