Bought insurance for camera because the plan said that it would cover drops, spills, cracked screens etc. well I dropped my camera and broke the screen and they are saying that it is not covered. Stay away. 0 stars.

When i asked why a gift card and where can I use it? Asurion hung up. Never called back. 2nd time. Not with the coverage. If warranty is needed purchase a laptop out music device from some place that will cover it. 😦

I recently bought a Trail Camera, and since I would be using it outdoors, I decided to purchase the extended warranty. Well, sure enough, less than 30 days later, it got drenched. Though it was supposed to be waterproof, it wasn't. So I contacted ASURION, and the people I talked to were accommodating and explained what the process was and when I could expect the claim to be fulfilled. They said up to 72 hours, but once they confirmed their receipt of the wet Trail Camera, I purchased the replacement (different Trail Camera) with the $$ Gift Card deposited in my AMAZON account the next day. I wish everything in life were this easy!!

set up the claim, and got an email almost immediately with shipping label and instructions. Packed up the nonworking trail camera, dropped it off with label at the Pack 'n Ship, and before I got home (which is 1/2 mile away), got a text saying my $99 gift certificate was ready. Basically, I brought in the nonworking camera, spent a day trying to make it work, put in a claim, and would have had the money to buy the new one the very same day had I actually shipped it that day. Very happy. No need to wait till broken item is received and acknowledged before buying the new one. You can be sure I got the same protection plan for the new one. Totally worth it.
