Exceptional page turner

This book was so awesome! First of all, I adored the characters. Bella might have been young and beaten down but she was never beaten. And Drake-this author creates the swooniest, Dirty-talking guys. Drake tries to right wrongs and loses sight of some really important things on the way. Both of them have flaws that the other balances out, they were perfect for each other. Edison was the icing on the cake. I even enjoyed the secondary characters, and their evolution through the story. The plot was cleverly suspenseful and I admire the way the author revealed parts of the story, especially Drake's past. This has to be one of my favourite reads by this author.

What a bland boring book

Don’t waste your time with this less than one dimensional series of cliches. Zero character development. Even sex sciences are bland. It’s bad when the most interesting character is a horse.

When it comes to reading new authors I am so picky. I’ve got my favorites and my top ten, my constant rereads that I will consistently immerse myself in time and time again. Nicole Snow has just added herself to that list.

Accidental Knight is the first of Nicole’s books that I have had the pleasure to read. I will be devouring the rest of her catalogue as soon as I can.

After reading the blurb I really didn’t know what to think. Within the first few chapters I was finding my footing and then I was ultimately sucked in. Drake at first I wasn’t sure what to make of him. Other than being a tattooed alpha that obviously commanded attention, he was sort of an enigma. Bella you automatically feel for, your drawn into her pain and heartbreak and have her back when situations arise. Her love of Edison, an ancient candy cane loving horse holds a special place for me. It’s so sweet and makes you want one of your very own.

Overall Five stars because that’s how high I could go.

This book ran me through a gamut of emotions and had a lot going on. I wasn't always sold on going back to what had happened in the past but doing so was integral to understanding the story. There is plenty of steam, legal maneuvers, dysfunctional family dynamics, danger and love. I adored Edison. Even though he was a horse, he seemed to understand and be aware of more than several others. He was also so protective. The book did bring me to tears at one point but had me smiling at the end. I loved the epilogue that you need to follow the link at the end of the book to find.

This is another great read. I love how much I bond with the characters, the story, and the author. This book is part of a series, but the books can be read out of order since they don’t fully connect or overlap.
Overview. Bella goes home to grandpa Jonah’s funeral. Bella soon finds out how quick her life is going to change. Grandpa left her everything, including the ranch, the oil company, and his helper Drake. Drake loved Jonah like a dad. After several years of darkness and serving his country, he finds a home, a job, and a new goal in life. But the two learn to adjust to their proxy marriage and help each other find love.

This book had pretty good reviews and sounded interesting. I liked the beginning and got interested in the plot in spite of the constant use of the "F" word. Then there were constant sexual innuendos and finally a very, very descriptive sex scene. It was at this point I said enough and did not finish it. It seemed to me the author used the cursing, innuendos, and sex scene just to make the book longer and most of it did nothing for the story line. I have not deleted it yet because as I said, I am curious about where the author was going with this plot so may skip to the end and try to figure it out. To say I am disappointed is an understatement. And to think I paid for this!

Edison was the most interesting of the characters

This was an okay read for me. I'm not sure what all the hype was about. I think my favorite character in the book was Edison. As far as his human counterparts go, I just had a hard time liking them. Drake was kind of a moody guy that chose to ignore Bella rather than talking to her and frankly, I didn't like what he and her grandfather did behind her back. Bella was immature and didn't have enough of a backbone to stand up to her parents. What's with the title? I don't think it really fit the book but maybe that's just me.

I'd never read Nicole Snow but wanted to try out other romance authors. It was slow going at first and I almost put it down at one point. But I got curious, and it got very complex - and I was surprised because I thought it started out with lots of cliche characters - the mean, overbearing mom, the weak dad, the ever-"perfect" grandpa. When that starting changing, one character at a time, I was in. It was a bit prosaic in waiting till the 50% to allow the first scene of The Deed. The plot was very complex, lots of characters - and wasn't sure how Snow was going to pull them altogether. But she did! I'll be reading more of Nicole Snow.

First book I’ve read by this author and I’m hooked. Bella was always close to her grandfather and lived for the times she spent on his ranch. And then she learns he died and has left the ranch and his oil company to her. He’s made one other provision as well. Drake spent the last four years protecting and helping Noah out. Noah arranges a marriage on paper for Drake and Bella that Bella unknowingly signs. Her mother is greedy and wants the fortune saying it should have gone to Bella’s father. Things get nasty and then get dangerous. Evil is overcome and Drake and Bella find their happy ever after. Excellent read.

Loved Edison the horse. A fav character in this story.
Molly, the supposed mother of our main character, is just awful. Treats Bella terribly and is abusive as well. Gary, her dad, barely redeems himself at the end.
Drake, the heavenly love interest, has a lot going on but isn't fleshed out fully. Would have liked more action between him and Bella.
The story was not easy to follow and there are pieces that don't knit together for coherence.
Not bad but not one I'd tell my sis to read.

There’s a surprisingly good bit of suspense or ‘whodunnit’ with this one. I also got ‘cowboy’ vibe and it all blended well. Drake and Bella found love quickly but the challenges made the story more believable. I couldn’t forgive some characters so the instant forgiveness written in was a pass for me. Lastly wishing a good story for Drake’s sister Ang to come next.
