The Gist: A romance book con and a writer in need of a date. A charming biker she met during a car accident agreeing to be her fake boyfriend during the book con? Score!
They were cute. Quinn was an awesome hero. He's a bike mechanic and artist who gave up a posh life to go after his dream job. He's a good guy. Easy going, good natured, sexy. Kellie drove me a little crazy with her defeatist attitude about her writing but overall she as a nice heroine, too. She's trying to figure things out between her failing bookstore and floundering writing career and just needing a break from it all.
I did enjoy them and their time together during the book con. They suited and had a good time which both desperately needed. A little friend drama, some work drama, some family drama made for a good bit of background noise as they got to know each other and found support with one another to deal with it all.
My only issue was some of the actions by women at the book convention that were just brushed off or made light of when had roles been reversed and men acting the same way as these women it wouldn't have been tolerated. Eh. I don't love a double standard.
Overall, though, Accidentally In Love With A Biker was a cute read. Not terribly memorable or unique but a good time spent if you have an afternoon free.
Whenever I use to think about bikers I thought of foul language dudes that were too rough around the edges for own personal taste. I was relieved when I was introduced to Quinn, the hero in the book. Quinn is a true biker, living in Las Vegas minus the explicit content that often accompanies contemporary heroes. Quinn was not only sexy, but he totally made me fall for a biker!
As for Kelly, the heroine I really liked the fact that she was a writer trying to make her way in the world. Together, she and Quinn were complete opposites and yet together their smoldering attraction clicked beautifully. I would certainly love to meet more contemporary couples such as Kelly and Quinn I know that for sure.
I will point out that the book is not a long read, but it is a read that as a reader you do not want to put down. I loved every minute of it and I am looking forward to enjoying more books from the author in the near future.

This was one of the funniest romances I have read. I laughed a lot. Kellie and Quinn were a scream. I liked their chemistry. They were made for each other. My favorite scene was when the two Darryls came for Betty after the accident. My second favorite scene was lunch at Quinn's parents. Kellie laid into his mother. It was great! I also enjoyed the phone call before.
This is the PERFECT read for summer--fun, fun fun!
