Warning: The next attack on American soil will come from within.
From coast to coast, our nation is witnessing a new wave of terror. Suicide bombers incite blind panic and paralyzing fear. A flight attendant tries to crash an airliner. A police officer opens fire on fans in a stadium. And at CIA headquarters, a Deputy Director goes on a murderous rampage. The perpetrators appear to be American—but they are covert agents in a vast network of terror, selected and trained for one purpose only: the complete annhiliation of America.
Special Agent Jericho Quinn has seen the warning signs. As a classified “instrument” of the CIA reporting directly to the President, Quinn knows that these random acts of violence pose a clear and present danger. But Quinn may not be able to stop it. The search for terrorists has escalated into an all-out witch hunt. And somehow, Quinn’s name is on the list. . . .

I want my money back, Amazon!!!!!
I figured out how to get refund for buying this book that I already bought long ago! Go to Manage your content and devices and you can request a return of an e-book there! In the future, I guess I will check out EVERY title I have by a particular author to make sure it is not just a new "reprint" with a new publication date! That is so wrong for Amazon to do that!
They show this book as a new title with a bogus "new" release date...it is actually a ten year old book with a new cover, different product description, and new price. Trying to figure out how to cancel it...
I join the other reviewers who mention there's way too much motorcycle detail in here - they're spot on. Whether it's Washington or Afghanistan, Quinn and his buddies seem unable to operate cars or any other form of transport - it's always bikes. That'd be fine except for the crazy amount of detail that goes into the bikes and equipment. There's only so many times I can hear about the horsepower of Quinn's German made bike, or how he takes off/puts on his kangaroo hide gloves and leathers before I just start skipping sentences. Enthusiasts will love it, but it gets old real quick for the rest of us.
I'll continue on with the series, but my enthusiasm after finishing the first novel has waned a little. Still a good read, but could have been better.
I think that the character development is very similar for all 3 authors..and there's no significant "sex" in the Jericho Q novels...
The biggest difference between Marc Cameron series of novels....vs Brad Thor and Vince Flynn, is that Cameron exposes a level of violence, of inhumanity, by his terrorists - that neither Thor or Flynn delve into.

The lead is pretty indestructible and his partner is just a bigger version, who for some reason is only scared of one thing in his life, his wife. The lead has a messed up family life and that does seem to play on the characters mind as the book progresses
Overall an excellent fun read
Too many times the story seems to be going somewhere good only for the chapter to end and a new one begin with a line saying they were back home and it was all sorted out!
Great twists and turns right to the end
If you like Mitch Rapp Jack Reacher you’ll love this
Can’t wait to get the next instalment
