So now you are getting insight into both Volka and Sixty. They are both developing, where Sixty seems to be more human and Volka has developed unusual abilities.
The fact that they are not fighting together has made both of them feel unsure and depressed. Sixty is jealous of Volka connection to Alaric, her old lover and still friend. That makes him take risks that he probably would not take and he really doesn’t know if Volka would even want him. Vollka is depressed because Sixty is gone and she cannot figure out if he really wants to be with her or not. This makes her depressed so she takes on assignments to keep her mind off of their relationship. But they are both growing, Sixty is becoming more human and more in touch with his wants and desires. While Volka is developing special skills that scares her but is helping her to grow into the person that she needs to be. With the help of Carl, Bracelet and Sundancer, she is evolving very quickly.
Cannot wait to see what is going to happen now that there are new forces arrived to help in the fight against the Dark and that Volka and Sixty are now working together again. Will the Republic and the Luddeccens ever get over their prejudices and learn to work together? With so many not believing that the Dark is a problem, will those who know ever be able to convince them that they are in danger of losing all of humanity to the Dark?
