This is a film that tells a deeply layered story. Wonderful character development, and people you care about, (except one of course.) It begins with the very attractive, and talented Mads Mikkelsen working in
an orphanage in India. A billionaire from his hometown of Copenhagen has offered to give money to the orphanage but he must come to Copenhagen to meet with him. The billionaire’s daughter is getting married the weekend he is there. A lot is revealed at this wedding and this wonderful emotional journey begins. I have watched it many times. At times funny, at times gut wrenching. But I could identify with the characters. They are REAL! Movies like this don’t come along very often. The acting is superb. It is subtitled, but very easy to follow. After few seconds I forget it is subtitles.
