I bought this headset two weeks ago and was totally excited to get it, the delivery was on time arriving Wednesday like it was supposed to, I've only used it for that one day due to the terrible quality of it.
Now here were my problems.
When I listened to the headphones, I would get this very odd static sound, that was until I turned down the game/chat volume.
I tried speaking with friends at least 8 or 9 of them via Teamspeak 3 and they all told me the microphone quality was bad and they could hear themselves. That was when I listened to the microphone myself and got major amounts of feedback whenever I'd speak or do anything, I turned the volume down and it wasn't as bad but the feedback would gradually pick up in pitch.
The light on the microphone does not turn off unless you unplug the headset entirely which can be a bit annoying.
The few positive things I could say about this headset.
1. The lights look fantastic, especially when you're playing in a very dark room.
2. I have a XL size head, going based off of football helmet sizes since I've played and that's the most recent measurement, the headband was fine and it didn't feel like it was squeezing my head to much.
If you're looking for a headset that has a good quality microphone and excellent sound, I'd suggest Logitech Wireless Gaming Headset G930 with 7.1 Surround Sound. There is currently a sale on it and is well worth the money.
Bottom line in case you do not want to read my review in detail
