3 Stars for Chinook the Beautiful Alaskan Malamute

As much as I wanted to like this movie, I just could not get past all the negativity written in the script.
The writer of this movie apparently thought it would be a good idea to have the 2 kids arguing for much of the entire movie. All that unnecessary stress made this difficult to enjoy. If one were inclined to actually watch this movie, I would recommend keeping the volume on very low or having the volume completely off.

Had I written this story, I would have had no arguing. I would have had the 2 kids getting along and supporting each other the entire time. The kids did actually get along at times, and did support each other when it mattered most.

However the very short lived positive moments were over shadowed by the relentless bickering and arguing. The kids did the best they could given the overwhelmingly negative script they had to deal with.

As for the dog, Chinook (pronounced Shinook) was wonderful.

If your looking for a great movie full of Huskies and Alaskan Malamutes, I highly recommend Eight Below.
A few other good dog movies I found enjoyable are Angel Dog, Hachi A Dog's Tale, Because of Winn Dixie (great for kids), White Fang, Zeus and Roxanne, Beethoven, Far from home the adventures of yellow dog, My Dog the Champion and of course Air Bud.

God's Blessings on His people and His 4 legged creatures..

Stay safe..

A fun family film the entire famiky can enjoy together. It may be somewhat predictable but fun nevertheless. The Alaskan Malamute Chinook is a smart, and Beautiful dog with all the vocal characteristics if its Husky cousins. I gige it 4 stars for being family Friendly, 3 and a half for being predictable and 4 for tge entire asdventure aspect i loved it.

Interesting Movie

I liked this movie. It is about two kids and a dog that get lost in the wilderness when a plane crashes. I liked how the kids helped each other when they were in the woods and how the boy knew a lot of survival skills. Esspecially when his sister got hurt and how he knew how to catch fish in the lake.
