The Guild Codex: Spellbound
Available in Kindle, Audiobook, and Paperback!
Mages, psychics, sorcerers, druids, demons—and a human with a feisty attitude, no magic, and one last chance at gainful employment. Join Tori as she dives headfirst into the world of mythics as the human bartender of a disreputable guild in the opening series of the expansive Guild Codex world.

Welcome to the Guild Codex
Four series, one magical world.
This expansive urban fantasy world includes four separate series: Spellbound, Demonized, Warped, and Unveiled. They can be read as standalone adventures or as one huge interwoven story, but wherever you start, you're in for a thrill ride of magic both whimsical and dangerous, fast-paced adventure and mystery, heart-warming friendships, and tantalizing slow-burn romance.

SpellboundWhen feisty redhead Tori landed a job at a sketchy pub, she had no idea she'd just joined a magic guild. And the three guys she drenched with a margarita during her first shift? Yeah, they were mages. She's about to get a crash course in the world of magic and mythics. Hilarious and heartwarming, The Guild Codex: Spellbound is perfect for readers who enjoy sassy heroines, found family, underdogs, humorous banter, slow-burn romance, and a hidden-magic world so immersive you'll be watching for mythics on the streets. |
DemonizedWhen shy bookworm Robin found a hellish creature imprisoned in her uncle's basement, she never intended to make a contract with the rare, deadly demon. And their contract? His protection in exchange for... cookies. There's no way that could go wrong. Blending thrilling action with an irresistibly slow romance, The Guild Codex: Demonized is perfect for readers who enjoy heroines who grow into their strength, demons with attitude, unlikely partnerships, frequent doses of humor, and a love story spanning millennia. |
WarpedWhen psychic conman Kit is arrested, all he wants to do is escape. Instead, he finds himself partnered with by-the-books MagiPol agent Lienna and tasked with bringing down his ex-partner-in-crime. That might make escaping custody a tad more difficult. Explore the magical FBI of the mythic world, MagiPol, in The Guild Codex: Warped alongside their most unlikely new agent. This series is perfect for readers who love off-beat heroes, pop culture, hilarity, buddy-cop stories, and wicked cool psychic powers. |
UnveiledWhen ex-convict and incompetent witch Saber encounters the notorious Crystal Druid, she tries to kill him. Then she discovers a mysterious fae on a deadly rampage. Together, they have a chance to stop it—if she can resist stabbing her new ally. Delve into the dark, dangerous world of druids in The Guild Codex: Unveiled. This series is perfect for readers who enjoy a fierce, troubled heroine, intense banter, mysterious magic, otherworldly fae, and a heart-rending second-chance romance. |

About the author

Annette Marie is the author of YA urban fantasy series Steel & Stone, its prequel trilogy Spell Weaver, romantic fantasy trilogy Red Winter, and sassy UF series The Guild Codex.
Her first love is fantasy, while fast-paced adventures and tantalizing forbidden romances are her guilty pleasures. She lives in the frozen winter wasteland of Alberta, Canada (okay, it's not quite that bad) with her husband and their furry minion of darkness—sorry, cat—Caesar. When not writing, she can be found elbow-deep in one art project or another while blissfully ignoring all adult responsibilities.

We start with fun action, before the gang + Sin heads off to Aaron's parents home (AKA THE Sinclair Academy). Unfortunately, things are not what they seem and well, everyone gets hurt in this book.
Tori also really gets to kick ass too!
The story villain is a little overly done in fantasy novels, but the book was good enough that it didn't loose a star for it.
Action, a look into an elite (snobby) Mage school, and Aaron might loose himself to his old ways time and again. Then there is Ezra... and his demon.
The BIG reveal at the end will make you bang your head against the wall wondering WHY you choose to read a series that's not finished yet. WE WANT MORE!
I love seeing Tori grow to be a stronger novice combatant, a better team player, and become wiser about potential danger before it strikes. I also loved seeing the guys be honest and check one of their own when they aren't being the friend they know. There are more reveals in this book and especially toward the end. I loved it.
There's also a bonus short story at the end of the book, that ties into book 6. It was a fun read, and insight into different, new characters (for those like me that haven't read Guild Codex: Warped yet).
Home for the holidays. What could be more pleasant than that? Well, that depends on home. Aaron takes the gang to his folks for Christmas. And of course, where they go, trouble follows.
We see why Aaron has worked so hard to break free of his family, see Sin meet her idol, and see Tori and Ezra, well, read the book and find out!

Tori also finds out a little more about Aaron’s background, takes out 2 shifters in a fight, get bit by a shifter too & finally kisses Ezra.
Tori also after confronting Ezra about said kiss finds out a little more about him & his demon.
But, now onto the next installment of Tori’s life.

Tori and the gang are heading to the Sinclair Acamedy for the Christmas holiday. Of course all is not as it seems, leaving Tori and the mages to investigates the unusual goings on at the Academy.
Tori is already a badass lead, now that she has been training with the boys, she is really coming into herself.
The slow burn romance is exactly that, slow burn. However, in this book we do get a good idea of what direction the romance is heading.
We get to see a little bit into Aaron's background, and to be honest, he is a bit of an ass in this book. I love that we get to see more of Sin in this book and the development of her and Tori's relationship, Tori was definitely in need of a female friend.
This book will have you at the edge of your seat, laughing, crying and wishing your life away for the next book! I for one, can not wait for the next book.
Annette always has me wanting more!
