You cant judge an old book to hard on how its "aged". A lot of the stories you will read in this book will seem pretty cheesy and downright disrespectful of the IP ex: Aliens: Earth War, Aliens: Space Marines. That being said Aliens (1989) mini series is pure art in every panel. The contrast between book is incredibly jarring. The 89 sequel series has some of the best art I've seen in comics meanwhile the Aliens Earth War mini series made me want to vomit. I've left panel examples for those curious. For those wanting to read every Alien book possible then go ahead and buy this. However if you just want Aliens stories that roughly stay canon this one is not for you.
