Terrific Romantic Comedy- Don't Believe the Mediocre Customer Reviews!

I waited a while to see this movie because some of the customer reviews were mediocre. But the movie is actually REALLY GOOD and I'd classify it as one of Sharon Stone's all-time best movies! And I've seen about 95% of Sharon's movies!

First of all the movie is definitely a chick flick, and Tony Goldwyn (surprisingly) shows a lot more skin than Sharon, so that may account for some people not loving the movie. The movie is a very interesting rom-com for people over 40, and it feels like a big-budget blockbuster, not some low budget independent movie.

The story is about (***SPOILER ALERT****) Sharon loses her job on her 46th birthday, she is single, and she frequently goes to lunch with her mom (Ellen Burstyn). A few years later she finally meets a gorgeous man her own age (Tony Goldwyn), but she messes up their relationship and he leaves her after her beloved mother gets cancer and dies. When Sharon decides she wants to get back together with Tony, she learns that he now has a much younger girlfriend.

I highly recommend this movie to all fans of Hollywood rom-coms, chick flicks, and fans of Sharon Stone, Ellen Burstyn, or Tony Goldwyn.

Sharon Stone was fantastic! I usually do not read reviews before I watch a movie because I usually disagree. I like the story and the fact that at any age we can still invent ourselves.

Mediocre movie with great stars

Mediocre movie but with two actors I love. I'll keep it just for that reason. Unless you are a big fan of Sharon Stone and or Tony Goldwyn, I wouldn't bother with it.
