All Lies Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
"I come from a long line of idiots."
Those were the last words his father uttered before dying, and from what he knew of his family tree and the unfortunate end that came to so many of his ancestors, Del Honeycutt couldn't disagree. What he didn't know was that his family held dark secrets - secrets that were about to come crashing down upon him.
A seemingly innocent date gone tragically wrong plunges Del into a web of murder, lies, greed, and a hidden fortune dating back to a crime committed 85 years earlier by his great-grandfather. Accompanied by Sabrina, the sister of Del's brutally murdered date, a violent journey of discovery and fear begins. Pursued by vicious killers intent on eliminating anyone with knowledge of the 85-year-old crime, their only hope of survival is to find the reason behind the original crime and why, decades later, someone is still willing to kill to keep it hidden. But Sabrina is concealing a monstrous lie of her own. Is she who she says she is?

It was also an incredible gift that it didn't scream for proofreading, like so many online books.
I highly recommend this outstanding book!

I found it hard to believe that paintings stolen from a museum or art gallery weren't insured for starters.....
This line makes no sense to me, "...one of the cops was talking to Seymour, who looked bullshit to have to be out of his apartment".....he only just met a woman and then stated that he "knew that her questions were coming from a genuine place".....how would he know that ? He's known her a day and the title of the book is All Lies so you have to wonder, anyway....then he replies to another person with, "Possible," I said, but I know I had a doubting look on my face. It just reads very oddly to me. I got to a part where he's thinking about security tapes AFTER breaking in somewhere and it just stopped ringing true for me altogether.
I hadn't happened upon any grammatical errors by then so I gave it an extra star, but the telling of the story just comes across as pretty peculiar, I'm afraid, and isn't for me.
Really enjoyed the character development and the roller coaster of events which followed.
A good beginning, middle and end. One of those books you don't want to quite finish straight away, so you can savour it a bit longer.
Will definitely read more by A.C
