The entertaining film of a young generational welfare “queen” mother who chooses to use her many talents to “hustle the streets'' under the false belief she is winning. Wanting to be an entrepreneur not wanting anyone to tell her what to do. In the meantime, causing her three children to suffer the consequences of her poor decisions.

Although, I enjoyed the cinema with her quick witted, smart, street savy daughter narrating. I felt the characters were a bit under developed. For example, it is clear that her and Pepi have history but, why is he choosing to set her up in business?

The casting was a good fit for each of the roles. I give this move 3.5 stars out of 5. It managed to keep my attention to the end. Good effort.

Good movie. Lil Mama definitely held her own. She is a great actress. The little girl that played Treasure was amazing as well. Some people are saying the story line is ridiculous but miracles do happen everyday...so relax and enjoy the acting and story.

The premise was ridiculous. The acting was very poor. I can't believe I paid for this movie. Very shallow and not well developed.
