the beginning felt a bit cheesy but once I got pass that it got really good. I do admit Lucky was a freaking douche to poor Ava and went a little too far. But I feel like he redeemed himself because in the end he did care.
I do wish though we got to see more of their kinks since they were brought up in the beginning but weren’t explore later on.
I love the story, the plot and characters. I was mad many time with Lucky and his attitude with Ava, but at the end I understood the why. I would love to see the story of Zoe and Meyer. Great characters, well written. Highly recommended.

The book really slow and what I consider awkward in the beginning. But if you are just a little patience it reaches out and grabs you. Once the books takes off you become invested in the players as if you are there with them. I just so wanted to knock the crap out of Lucky so many times for acting like a typical bully until as you read it is a defense mechanism for his self-protection and once you realize this you really start routing for him. Then along comes Ava. I really felt sorry for her until the story evolves and you see her in a totally different light. Once the story takes off you will not put this book down as it leads on a roller coaster ride until the end and believe me you will stay on this ride until the end

It all started with a show in Austin and an in-person meeting, then a contest in which Ava would always be one of the winners, a week stay at Lucky's Jazz Manor, parties, fun, lust, angst, Covid happening and so, quarentine as well, a very prolonged stay, more lust, angst, sexy banter, 🔥trysts🔥and falling in love. And then, the disconnection, the tragedy and the possibility of losing it all!
It's an engaging narrative which each one of us can relate to, emotional balanced with lots of funny, witty and h.o.t. moments!
