I make eggs ALL THE TIME. I buy large eggs all the time. These are NOT large eggs. Lately I've been making scrambled eggs with them and wondering why the quantity of scrambled eggs (made with my usual 3 eggs) seems so...stingy. Compared to other brands of large eggs, these run more like medium. I will not be buying this brand again.
First order of 1 dozen had 2 broken eggs. Second order of 2 dozen had 11 broken eggs. Third order of 1 dozen had 1 broken.
Love the eggs. Getting somewhat less than happy with the paid delivery service that is unable to deliver without breakage or spoilage.
Three eggs broken. Luckily, in plastic produce bag before putting into the grocery bag, so nothing else damaged or dirty. I've bought these several times because in the beginning they were fabulously fresh, chalky opaque shells. It's gone downhill ever since.
Previously, they've been wonderfully, incredibly fresh. No more.
While the date on the carton is fine, the eggs inside are old.
I've never had cage free eggs before, but I was testing amazon fresh to see how their delivery service was on fragile things so I bought these. I am glad to report that all eggs arrived in perfect condition. I can't say that I noticed anything different in taste, but I can make a few chickens happier, why not!
However, if you aren’t using an electric egg cooker, they’re great tasting and an amazing texture for over medium pan fried eggs. Five stars in that case.
Overall, not great.. if you're going to use them for baking they'd be fine, but as a scrambled egg I'll take a hard pass.
