Having To Use More Than I Normally Do

I tend to go through periods of using liquid creamer and powdered creamer. I think I just like change after a while. I decided to try Amazon Brand - Happy Belly’s Powdered Non-dairy Original Coffee Creamer (Fat-Free), 16 Ounce as a change of pace from the flavored liquid creamers I’ve been using. It has been a while since I’ve used a powdered creamer, so I’m not sure, but I don’t think I normally use the fat free type. So, some of my impressions could be because it is fat free. When I do use a powdered creamer, it is usually a store brand, so that is my comparison.The product is packaged exactly as I would expect for a powdered creamer and it was safety sealed. The pour lid opens and closes easily and it doesn’t look like it will break before I’m finished with the container. I have had that happen before with other creamers. The expiration date is a little less than 2 years. I haven’t had any problems with it clumping.I do drink dark roast coffees, but that is what I’m always using creamer with. I’m finding that I have to use double or triple the amount of powdered creamer I normally would. The serving size is 1 teaspoon. You probably won’t even be able to tell there is anything in the coffee at that amount, except maybe with a very light roast and small cup of coffee. The calories add up quickly with the amounts I’m having to use, for those who are counting those. I just don’t expect to end up with a higher calorie count with a fat free product. I can’t really detect much flavor with this product. It smooths out the taste of my coffee, but I don’t detect much of the flavor at all that I would expect from a powdered creamer. All of the above could have to do with it being fat free. That said, I find this powered coffee to just be okay. Will I get this one again? Probably not. Would I try Happy Belly powered coffee that isn’t fat free (assuming they have that)? Probably so.
