I worked in the Pet industry for over a decade and have seen a lot of different pens for pets. I was interested in the 28" beige plastic 8-panel kennel. However, the product description page shows a picture of it being 16 inches tall next to a man and I was unsure what to expect. This size ratio picture is not accurate (at this time) and I suggest for this image to be corrected. The panels are 28 inches tall and 22 inches wide. There are 8 panels altogether making this a fairly decent sized kennel.
It is extremely easy to assemble and easily positioned into the desired shape. The panels are lightweight but durable. Once the rods are put into place the panels will stay in that exact location and do not flex or adjust. If you need to readjust the angle simply take out the rod and angle the pieces to the desired angle and replace the rod. It comes with clips as well to keep the rods in place just in case.
The pet pen actually has a door which is really great because that allows the pet to go in or out without being lifted. It also gives free-roaming pets the ability to head back to their sanctuary when they are ready to retire. The product page described the cage to have rubber padding on the bottoms but I did not see this. However, I am very happy with the pen and the ease of use. I did not see a product warranty or information on a guarantee. It would be nice to see this available on the product description page.
Update- over time the cage may lean if you have it in a rectangular shape. When it is round it is very sturdy.

NOT FOR SMALL DOGS..HEAD STUCK IN HOLE!

First let me say, I NEVER write reviews. However I am still traumatized from my experience with this product. My 10-week old puppy's head was stuck in one of the holes of the play pen. I was horrified! I received a call at work and a video of her yelping uncontrollably. I probably ran every red-light to get home. I had to call the fire-department for help and ended up drenching her with organic coconut oil. I won't post the video, because it would have you in tears! As you can see from the photo, her neck was bruised. I suppose I missed the disclosure that this product is not for small dogs. I use a crate for sleeping, however, I purchased this product to give Luna (Yorkie-Poo) more room during the day when I have to be away for more than a couple of hours. I set the play pen up so that there could be room for her to play, eat and have a pee-pad. I am having anxiety just writing this.

My girl Coco just had her first litter of puppies & I wanted to create a private space for her & her pups. Initially I was going to invest into a baby pen or play pen similar to Northstates, but I wanted something that would easily accessible for Coco to get in & out to feed her pups, while still being able to contain the pups, plus still have access for me to reach inside in case I needed to pick a pup up. I decided to search Amazon & I got lucky to find this product. I bought the 8-panel 28” black version. It was delivered earlier today & I set it up ASAP. As soon as I finished, Coco went inside & got comfortable lol. I’m pleased with the quality of the product as it is sturdy & it matches with the aesthetics of my home, as well. I attached photos of my set up with Coco & her pups inside to give y’all an idea of it could possibly look like for you. Coco is a white german shepherd breed.
