Good components, poor assembly
Reviewed in the United States on September 21, 2017
This is not a professional grade cable, and I wasn't expecting that. The connectors are not gold plated, but it does have proper screw on XLR connectors with a beefy strain relief, and nice insulated copper wiring. The inner signal conductors even have a bit of shrink tubing over the solder cups.
The problem is that the assembly is a bit shoddy. The jackets of the inner conductors were cut when the large jacket was stripped. Also, some of the solder joints were a bit sloppy in a few spots on both ends.
I was able to re-solder the bad connections, but didn't bother cutting it back to fix the damaged jacketing. It works fine, and isn't very noisy.
