Cover seems to be good quality, but there's a major design flaw.
The way the cover is designed means that the "window" has to be on the right side of the crate when you are facing it, which doesn't work for where I have the crate in the room (the window would open onto a wall, which sort of defies the point).
I thought I could just "flip" the cover around, but the other side can't be rolled up all the way.
It's possible you could work around this because this end does unzip on one side, allowing a triangular "tent flap" style opening, but for my crate the door wouldn't open easily in that setup.
Interesting because it seems all Amazon would need to do is mirror the design on both of the shorter ends so it would work no matter how the crate is placed in a room.
There's also a pocket on one side, which seems a bit pointless. Would have rather seen that be another "window" or have both ends be able to be rolled up.

This thing is horrible. It has no way to fasten to the crate itself rendering wide open for the dog to destroy. On day one he managed to get at the cover that is made to simply roll over the top and completely rip it off.I would not recommend. I would not buy again. Last forever, if treated right and you know your dog

The first picture is of the cover I have had for over 2 years on the Amazon basic kennel I have had for over 3 years. Clearly they hold up over time, and can be very long lasting if treated right. The second cover that is shredded is on the kennel that I bought a few months ago to help train my sisters dog. Clearly it's not held up so well. Turns out my sister knew her dog destroyed everything she could reach in her kennel, and unlike I did with my dog (zipped it up fully every time until he was past that habit) she simply left it unzipped and went to bed. Clearly the cover didnt survive. I'm buying a new one today and will be working with both her and the dog on breaking the bad kennel training habits they acquired and I have high hopes the cover will last this time.

-Even though the Amazonbasics crate has two doors (one in the narrow end, one in the wide side), this cover has no door flaps, the entire side must be unzipped and flipped up.
-If a side is unzipped and flipped up, there are no ties to keep the adjoining flaps fitting close, they can flap around.
-The crate cover has a mesh window on the wide side similar to the crate, but it's smaller than the door on the crate.
My solution was to remove the door on the wide side of the crate, install the cover and then cut out the mesh window on the wide side and cut off the window cover flap. This gives our puppy a big opening to walk through, and the high bottom sill doesn't create a tripping hazard because her Kong bed is very thick. She seems to really enjoy having the crate cover, because she spends more time in the crate when she's feeling tired or while we're eating dinner.
I understand that the cover might be more intended for transporting dogs in crates, but for our purposes of providing some dark and private refuge in our house, it wasn't perfect out of the box. If the cover had two door flaps that fit the door openings better and if there weren't any mesh windows, I would have given this cover 5 stars.

Picture in description is misleading, shows a height of 31", my crate is 27" and product does not reach the bottom.
Also description says its 24.7" wide, my crate is exactly 24" and product is at least 2" too narrow.
Itll work for our purpose, barely.
For reference, this is a Petmate crate.

It fits the Amazon Kennel perfectly and will fit most kennels as long as you order the correct size.
The fabric is breathable but blocks out most of the light. There are pockets for the handle and zippered openings for ventilation and light.
I installed a security camera in our kennel so we can watch our dog sleeping even when the cover is completely zipped up.
I am very happy with this cover and would recommend it and buy it again!
