Amazon Basics Non-Stick Set of 9 inch Round Cake Pans

Often round pans like this are sold individually although two are often needed for example when making a layer cake. This set of 9 inch round baking pans are offered as a pair. They are medium-weight so won’t dent at the slightest bump and they have a medium grey stick resistant finish.They also have red silicone textured handle inserts to make handling them while still hot from the oven more secure. The silicone inserts are removable—they snap onto the metal pan handles. Silicone is oven safe for temperatures up to 428 degrees Fahrenheit but the inserts should be removed if used at higher heat.I prepared a cinnamon crumb cake in one of the pans and it baked evenly and released easily (greased per the recipe instructions). Baking temperature was 350 degrees and after baking the silicone inserts are too hot to handle alone so an oven mitt was needed. I usually wash pans like this by hand to avoid the harsh detergents and high heat in dishwashers dulling the non-stick finish. Baking basic—excellent set.
