AmazonBasics Single-Monitor Mounting Arm
Put your LCD monitor right where you want it with the AmazonBasics single-monitor mounting arm. By raising the monitor (not included) up off your desktop, the mounting arm quickly cuts down on unnecessary clutter and increases valuable surface space. Easily adjust the mounting arm as needed to ensure comfortable viewing of your LCD monitor, which helps reduce shoulder, neck, and eye strain. Ideal for home or office use, the single-monitor mounting arm provides space-saving convenience and ergonomic placement of almost any LCD monitor or TV.
- Single-monitor mounting arm with adjustable height
- Extension/retraction motion; display tilt; landscape or portrait mode
- Increases desktop space; ergonomic positioning for reduced strain
- Easy set up
From height adjustment and extension/retraction to display tilt and landscape or portrait mode, the single-monitor mounting arm offers an exceptional range of flexible motion. The monitor can extend a monitor outward up to 25 inches (64 cm), and its 13-inch (33 cm) height range meets the ergonomic needs of more than 9 out of 10 adults. Rotate the screen for portrait viewing (without all the scrolling) of photos and other documents. Best of all, repositioning the monitor requires nothing more than a light touch for up, down, forward, and back. When not in use, simply push the display out of the way.
The AmazonBasics single-monitor mounting arm attaches easily to the edge of a desk or table. When not in use, the arm folds back over the base for compact, out-of-the-way placement, and a cable-management system keeps all the monitor cables hidden away, tucked neatly under the arm.

One thing I did have to do is tighten (i.e. add tension too) the main spring. This is the heay duty spring that does the heavy lifting of your monitor. If you have a large heavy monitor like mine, it will need to be tensioned so that it holds your monitor in the one position.
See pictures attached - the bolt that needs to be tightened is at the top of the main arm. You have to look hard because it is "inside" the top of the main arm - it is not an obvious find. If you tigthen this bolt (large hex key provided, or 4mm hex (allen) key if you dont have the provided) you will have no problems with the main arm slipping (i.e. falling) when weighted.
Great product at a great price. Can't beat Amazon Basic products.
2) I put in a request to get a replacement, that too came defective and stuck facing the ceiling. You would think the # of reviews, and the # of returns/replacements would hint to Amazon Basics that there is a problem with their quality control.
3) The Instructions are GARBAGE. They are not useful whatsoever, I watched a youtube video to see the quick way of setting it up.
For what it's worth, the rest of the installation was very easy and I have to imagine the process would have been painless if not for this flaw. However, makes the product unusable. Will be returning today.
If you plan on using your monitor in one fixed position, at one fixed angle, then this will work for you. Otherwise, beware!~

I have an Acer Predator Z35P mounted on this which weighs just shy of 10KG without the stand, after adjusting the tension up high it holds it perfectly steady and is the easiest mount to assemble.
Manoeuvrability is great, even with this large heavy monitor I can just put it somewhere and it will happily stay.
Cheap mounts you're lucky for it to hold up a light monitor and you have to loosen parts to adjust it to then tighten it again after. This thing needs none of that Once it's in place, it's not going anywhere unless you move it yourself.
I used a block of wood under mine in the clamp due to the design of my desk as the clamp didn't sit well enough on the metal bar, it was slipping off and really the bar was too small so I would recommend getting a block of wood if your desk is like this and you want it to be more sturdy.
* Schreibtisch sieht sehr aufgeräumt aus
* Sehr flexible und schnelle Anpassung an wechselnde Bedürfnisse ohne irgendetwas verrücken zu müssen
* leicht einstellbar (sowohl von der Positionierung des Monitors, als auch die Einstellung des Arms bei der Erst-Montage [Feder, etc.])
* wackelt nicht und verstellt sich nicht automatisch
* Qualitativ hochwertig
Ich kann jedem der mit dem Gedanken spielt sich einen Schwenkarm zuzulegen, nur empfehlen diesen hier in die engere Auswahl zu nehmen.

This is what I should have bought first time round. Quality, sturdy product. Holds my ASUS PG348Q with ease. Love it.
Only negative is the instructions could have been clearer but can’t have everything 👊🏻
At the time of purchase the Ergotron is available on Amazon for £111.79 and this is £89.99. If you shop around you might find the Ergotron cheaper than on Amazon at a competing retailer, but I'm confident you wont find it cheaper than the AmazonBasics one which makes this a real bargain.
I used this with a HP ZR2440w (24" 16:10 ~5KG) and I didn't even have to adjust the tension settings, It was perfect right out of the box which suggests that the default position for the settings is around the middle of the min/max range. Everything is adjustable with the tools provided in the accessories package, so if you find the arm sagging or springing your monitor around there isnt anything to worry about.
Just like its bigger brother (the Ergo MX), the motion is smooth, build quality is excellent, accessories are exactly what's required to mount this either via a bolt though the desk or the clamp for the edge of the desk. I used the clamp to allow me to adjust it at a later date.
A really nice feature of the VESA plate of these monitor arms is that you can pivot the monitor 90 degrees so that the monitor is Portrait. If you haven't tried this before, I would highly recommend it for viewing documents and websites.
As this is an Ergo LX, there is a decent amount of additional accessories available such as laptop/tablet brackets, extra sections for longer reach arms (although the colour wont match) and VESA brackets that allow a mini PC or slim client to fit in-between the arm and the monitor.
I have previously used quite a few 'budget' monitor arms and have since learned my lesson. They are prone to breaking or not matching up to their specifications. Buy this and avoid any disappointment.
The product is great and can be configured in any way. I'm using it for my 32-inch Samsung 4k monitor. Since it is a bit heavy, the monitor arm kept dropping so I was furious at first. If I had read the manual carefully I wouldn't have missed the part where the vertical adjustment was described. Embarrassing for me, they pointed out the vertical adjustment part, but I could swear, that part was not there when I had a glance at it. So if it's not working for you just like in some Youtube channels, don't panic, just read the manual again and again or call amazon support.
I would recommend this to anyone because it is much cheaper than its competitors with similar features and quality.
I use a 34" ultrawide monitor and I tried two other mounts before that either didn't fit properly in the monitor (didn't even know that was possible since it is a standard and they claimed to support it) or couldn't bear the weight of the monitor. However, this AmazonBasics mount was easy to setup and holds the monitor incredibly well. You can even tweak the tension to have it higher or lower and control the pressure you need to put to move it. It is a great piece of engineering and certainty worth its price.
Had to buy a 3 meter Thunderbolt 3 cable to handle all the positions of the stand as the original was too short. Monitor is a LG 34UC99 Wide.
The stand had saved space on my desk and holds my monitor well (I was initially worried it might not have been able to) this is the monitor I use [ https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B017U8Z61W ]
Edit: A small part of me was worried that the mount might not be able to hold my monitor stably and keep it up as long as it has managed to, but it holds it exceptionally well and based on how its fared so far I have no worries about it. I would definitely recommend this.
I have an MSI Optix MAG341CQ which is a large and heavy 34inch ultrawidescreen monitor. The stands holds it effortlessly and allows for a full range of motion when moving it around. I keep my monitor in a neutral position when working at my desk, but then I like to move it around for watching movies or working out etc and the stand allows for this with complete ease. I will note for anyone with an MSI monitor, they don't come with the required VESA bracket for this stand so you'll have to buy that seperately. Most other monitors come with them, just MSI seem not to.
Installation was a little tricky due to the size of my monitor, but I got there eventually and once it's on, you shouldn't have to adjust it much apart from tightening a few of the screws to keep it secure. Some of the tightening points are a little fiddly to get to.
Overall, great product, built well and does the job perfectly. I can't imagine going back to a conventional monitor stand after using this.
It has a really smooth and sturdy motion, a really pleasingly high quality build and plenty of range in all directions.
It was the first 'amazon basics' product I'd heard of, let alone bought, so I was a little sceptical. But it's anything but 'basic', and highly recommended!
It was easy to install and after adjustment holds a 32" Benq PD3200U well, which is 8.5kg, there was still room for further adjustment.
Installation was easy and the only part that was fiddly was crawling under my desk and re-attaching the desk clamp so I could get it on a desk which can't be moved.
Highly recommend this monitor arm.
