After 25 years the untold human side of the Apollo 16 moon mission is now told with interviews with all three astronauts, Commander John Young, Lunar Module Pilot Charles Duke, and Command Module Pilot Thomas Mattingly.
Personal & little known experiences from the astronauts and their supporters are sprinkled throughout this gem of a documentary. Just wish the production quality had been better (i.e. no video tape & better interview framing).
Good Movie. Not too deep. Unfortunately the footage is the best that they could do then and a different format. What would be nice is to utilize NASA's phenomenal libraries of still images and have Ken Burns put together an incredible series of films interviewing those who are still alive now. Pans and zooms on some of the incredible still shots on the lunar surface would surely be more dynamic. All those Hasselblad images. Sponsor it Amazon?

Reuse of most of the same footage that can be seen in other Apollo documentaries. Doesn't give much depth to the specifics of the mission. Poor quality audio and video, needs to be remastered if the original prints still exist.
