[Speaking first about the FAIRY TAROT deck: The cards have quite detailed high-end artwork and are bordered with silver foil. The metallic foil edgings on any deck will wear off with repeated shuffling, as they have on other Doreen Virtue oracle card decks I own. (Of course, I shuffle gambler-style--not gently as Doreen does, as demonstrated on her website). I have about 25 decks, though not all are edged in the gold or silver foil. I have used this deck numerous times and the information provided is quite detailed and specific enough to make sense to anyone--nothing vague or cryptic here. I literally find myself trying to make up questions just so I can interact with the Divine thru this deck, it is such a joy.] I will say the same about the ARCHANGEL POWER ORACLE deck I just received, as well. Though the artwork is SLIGHTLY simpler--not as crammed with objects--it is no less colorful or "grown-up." That deck is edged in gold foil. I have read other reviewers' complaints about overly simplistic artwork in some of Doreen's other decks, but I feel that the art is a subordinate consideration to the messages. If you are using your intuition and are "dialed into" the Divine, you will get what you need to know--if not at that moment, then soon after, with quite reflection and/or meditation. I cannot imagine that either of these decks would disappoint any serious reader and I highly recommend them both. :)

Too Personal For My Taste

I like the messages and layouts with this deck, but what I find distracting is that the creator put pictures of herself, her friends (including famous friends like Louise Hay), her boyfriend, dog, etc. on the cards. Photos of people and animals resonate their own energy which can affect readings on some level if you're extra sensitive to energies. I find cards that have beautiful, non-personal artwork easier to read than those with photos of actual living people who have their own vibrations emitting. I believe Doreen has done this more subtly with her other cards, but this deck it's really obvious. As a reader, I find the personal photos disruptive to the flow so I don't use these much for professional readings. I'm curious about the Guardian Angel Tarot, if this doesn't contain any personal pictures I'd be more open to using it. I wish there were more pictures of Archangels, as the title implies.

I was drawn to this deck from the moment I laid eyes on it. The title was inspiring and exactly what I was looking for; an Angelic Tarot with Power. It was purchased prior to reading the reviews and I am glad I did it that way. I later read reviews while waiting for it to arrive leaving me doubful as to whether or not we would connect. And I must say it performed with outstanding accuracy. The images on some of the cards are slightly superficial, yes. That is not all Tarot is about. The energy and intuitive connectedness was what mattered to me more. On a personal level I have recently experienced an unexpected set back, these cards have guided me back to a more positive perspective with ANSWERS. One great way to try to apply these cards is by learning their meaning within the included Guidebook, cross referencing the card with the original RW meaning (I used the RW Radiant Tarot) and combining the information. It was tremendously eye opening to know the messages held within. I received enhancement from using it this way. Bringing Old World Wisdom into a Modern Oracle. I am happy with my choice.

Returned it as soon as I opened the deck. The artwork is horrible and looks like someone sat down and photoshopped some stuff together. I wanted to feel inspired, instead, I felt let down. The artwork is highly, highly important for me (as with the symbology in said artwork), and I just felt disgusted. Shadowscapes and Anna K. decks are miles beyond this one if you're interested in solid decks with beautiful art.

I collected a number of decks where the prices ranged up to $20+...and I hardly used them or if any at all, because some of the decks cannot connect with my energy. Sometimes, I'm too tired or stress to analyzed the symbols on the tarot and my energy is too haggard, edgy, and jagged.

Now onto the deck itself: I bought this deck for $10 and I also bought the Angel Tarot by Doreen Virtue, I actually used this deck more than the Angel Tarot, because I really enjoy the artwork, I enjoy the human looking angels photos with their friendly smiles, and the empowering words. The keywords at the bottom match the meaning of the traditional tarot, and if anything I found the gentle intepretation make sense to me. This deck has a healing effect on me and actually saves me a lot of insanity, especially when I'm dealing the drama and stress of other people.

After a few self-readings, i found myself less embittered, less stressed, less guilt, less anger and blaming myself and letting go of unnecessary attachments. This deck can also help you connect to your psychic spirit energy and help you open up to spirit guides and angel guides. I found that my spirit guides and guardians like the deck too and they find it easier to work with my energy to give me the guidance I needed in stressful situations by using this deck as a spiritual divination tool. I feel it's worth the money because I enjoy the gold gilded edges around the cards, the cards are made of good stock, and the it's laminated to give that glossy feel. It comes with a guidebook too. If you plan to use this deck as a way to read for your clients and give them energy readings or angel therapy energy healings, this deck is definitely being made for a such a purpose if used with love, care, and respect.

If you're someone who is stumped on buy which deck, the angel tarot or the archangel tarot, it's a matter of personal preference. I recommend buy both, because honestly, you can't beat the price. I found both decks work together in harmony, and it's so much fun to mix and match difference messages from both decks as a way to heal myself.
