I've received numerous emails from clearly fake email addresses attempting to bribe me to remove this review. They have offered to give gift cards in amounts up to $50 if I would simply remove my review to help their "small business."
I've reported the seller and manufacturer to Amazon to investigate, so they can be removed completely from the site. Please be weary of doing business with either. Neither of them should have my e-mail address, but according to Amazon customer support one of them must have violated their terms of use and retained/distributed my e-mail. This review isn't going anywhere for any amount of money.

tl;dr: I believe that this product is poorly manufactured and a cheap piece of junk. Not worth the price tag, and a serious electrocution hazard.
I received this product last night (Dec. 12th). It was a Christmas present for my wife.
The packaging was adequate and undamaged. The foot spa was in a cardboard box that was packed in a larger box with some packing paper stuffed in to keep everything from rattling around. There were no signs of the package being dropped or otherwise mishandled.
I opened it up and found the foot spa and a booklet containing instructions for use. My first step was to take a peek at the instructions. I didn't see anything out of the ordinary. Operation is very straightforward, and there were only a couple pages in English. What did stand out for me was the awful translation. For example, this product is not intended for "retarded old people." That's verbatim from the booklet. I wish I had a picture, but I've already packed it back up for return and forgot to snap one first. Perhaps someone else could upload something.
After taking the plastic off the unit, I set it up on our hardwood floor. I then started filling it up using a one gallon pitcher. After the first gallon, the water level was still below the "Min" line stamped on the inner plastic. Before going to fill the pitcher a second time, I noticed that water was beginning to pool under the foot spa. I thought that was odd, but figured that I might have stupidly forgotten to check the drainage plug. I inspected it and was surprised that there was no leakage from the plug.
I picked the unit up off the ground and saw that water was literally raining from the bottom. Picture the way water flows out of the end of one of those large garden watering cans and you can imagine the rate of leakage.
I immediately grabbed a towel and stuck it to the bottom, then carried it to the kitchen sink so I could dump everything out. I then flipped it over to look for the source of the leak. Nothing seemed broken on the bottom. There's a vented area in the plastic on the bottom cover, which I presume is used to allow for airflow for the bubbles (just guessing).
There are 8 screws holding the bottom plate to the body of the foot spa. Since the water was coming from inside, I decided to open it up and take a look. Inside, I found the control mechanisms and motors for the unit. Please refer to the pictures I attached.
The motor is supposed to be connected to the main plastic body by 2 threaded plastic support pegs. Both of those pegs were completely broken and severed from the body. At the other end, the motor is connected to what I'm guessing is a pump. The housing for the pump was cracked wide open, and the point where the plastic joins motor and pump was cracked and almost completely separated. The pump was leaking lubricant (the blue gunk you see - which will stain your skin if you touch it, as I found out). Everything underneath was wet. The tubing that goes from the small motor to the two connections with the main body was severely kinked. It looks like it was actually put together backwards based on the tubing length (or the wrong length was used). The soldering was also very poorly done.
Of course, the most alarming thing was that the water had leaked all over the electronic components in the bottom which could have caused electrocution if not connected to a GFCI outlet or extension cord. Unless folks are sitting on their toilets in the bathroom, I doubt most people have a GFCI outlet within a few feet (did I mention that the power cord is very short and will likely require an extension cord?).
Overall this was an extremely frustrating experience. The product appears shoddy at best, and could cause serious harm if someone filled it up and attempted to plug it in if it arrived in the same condition as mine. Do your research and find something higher quality. Even if this was a fluke and their main assembly team was out with the flu, there is absolutely no way this should cost more than $40.
Thankfully, Amazon has been absolutely wonderful in working to make the situation right. I am returning this product and will be purchasing a higher quality equivalent made by a more reputable company.
