Armor

There are a few unspoken rules within the club. One of them is the fact we don’t go around screwing each other’s sisters and for a while it wasn’t an issue. That is, until Hammer came into the clubhouse.

He was a regent from the Reapers Rejects MC up in Montana, and since Inc was there, he came here. Him being in Los Angeles was part of a bigger plan, a way to prove we were all allies. He was a good dude and a great fighter. When push came to shove we knew we could depend on him.

I never expected Jada to turn my entire world around, but she did. We were passionate about the same things, and she rocked my world—both during the day and night.

Over time I developed feelings for her, and while I was trying to find the man who was trafficking the children in Los Angeles, she noticed my white lies weren’t adding up. I had two choices: lie to the woman who had my heart, or tell her every horrible thing about me.

It should’ve been an easy decision, but it wasn’t . . . and all I could do was hope for the best.

What an intense, dark at times twisted emotional ride you will take as you follow all of the drama, suspense, danger, violence and romance between Armor a member Satan's Raiders MC and Jada, sister of Hammer Regent of the Reapers MC. With all of the chaos surrounding the club as they are dealing with an enemy whose goal is to destroy the Satan's Raiders MC, Armor is on a quest to end and find the man who is the leader of the sex trafficking ring targeting children in LA. With his trust fund money Armor does all he can to purchase these children and sending them to Inc's club for a better life, but he will soon find himself in a high-risk situation as he is doing all of this without the knowledge from his President Breaker and his brothers.

Hammer is by Armor side when he meets with his contact to purchase more of these children who have been taken as he knows that Hammer can be trusted as this bad$ass biker is a great fighter and one that he can depend on. But soon Armor is going to be put into a situation as he is about to cross the line when he connects with Hammer's sister. Jada arrives from Montana to be with her brother who she misses, but this feisty, sassy young woman will be drawn to Armor and they will begin a secret relationship that is hard, fast and steamy. Once these two connect the chemistry between them is Hot! Hot! as their relationship unfolds. But club drama is at the forefront of this story as they are under attack by the 17's after Breaker ended up killing Cee who betrayed him and was working with her father who is the leader of 17's . Breaker feels guilty for his part and blames himself for the danger his club is in now and how he treated his men all because he was in love. Armor assures him that what he did what was necessary to prove to this gang and the cartel that the Satan's Raiders MC is not a club to be messed with. As the club is trying to find them before things escalate, chaos and mayhem unfold when Hammer's daughter arrives at the club's Halloween party. As Armor and Jada return to the party after sneaking off together, Armor sees two masked men enter the club and start shooting at the crowd, through all of the confusion Hammer's daughter is shot and is fighting for her life. With the love between Armor and Jada she is tired of hiding her feelings and decides to tell her brother about her relationship. At first brother and sister will go at it as Hammer's only objection is that he didn't want his sister involved in this dangerous lifestyle. Finally he gives his blessing but tells Armor he better not hurt his sister. This story had so many twists and turns as Armor's undercover work puts him in a risky situation when his contact informs the club about what Armor has been doing and that he is in danger from the ring leader. Soon a misunderstanding between him and Jada takes place when she thinks he is lying to her, in order for him to prove to her that he loves her and has Inc tell Jada what he has been doing. Now we are left with a suspenseful ending when Armor comes face to face with the leader of the sex trafficking ring that will blow your mind in a deadly standoff. Will Armor and Jada have their HEA? Will the club be able to take out the 17's? Now we are left with a twist as Elizabeth Knox will have us waiting for Fury's story to see how all of this will unfold.

Armor has money and decides to use it to save girls who are being taken and sold. Jada shows up to see her brother and their attraction is undeniable. Now Armor has to make a decision, be honest with Jada or lose who he knows is his.

Armor has been saving children from being trafficking by using his trust fund. With Inc help in Montana to reunite them with their parents if possible. But he needs Hammer help, so he tells him his secret. But when Jada Hammer’s sister comes to visit it’s instant chemistry between them. Hammer doesn’t want her around the MC life but that doesn’t stop her from falling for Armor. But he will tried to keep her safe. Their journey has up and down but in the end they will find their happiness.

The characters were believable & hot. Armor and Jada belong together fulfilling Armor's wish to settle down with a family of his own. There were other things such as the trafficking ring that Armor is trying to stop and an issue with a rival club creating lots of thread to follow but they went nowhere in this book. I felt the book was too short as there could have been a bit more about the other things causing strife within the club. Elizabeth Knox quite often leaves loose ends that are followed up in subsequent books, but I felt there was just a bit too much vagueness
this time. Don't get me wrong, if you're looking for a love story with a HEA, this book delivers as it is very much Armor & Jada's story. I love Elizabeth Knox and am excited to hear she will have co-writers so she can get books released sooner as I have to go back and reference previous books in a series when there is so much time between them.
