The final chapter of a comedy legend

In the Army Now is what I like to refer to as the conclusion to Pauly Shore's great comedy trilogy preceded by Encino Man (which frankly, Shore's responsible for atleast 65% of its success) and Son in Law. Pauly Shore will sadly never get the credit he deserved. He was a highly unique, original and brilliant comic talent and personality and In the Army Now is one of his most underrated movies (though I'm thrilled to see that this along with Encino Man and Son in Law have very well deserved high ratings here on Amazon). I really hope that these 3 comedy classics get proper blu ray treatment someday. Maybe as a Pauly Shore triple feature!

A feel good movie. Great blu ray visual quality.

A feel good movie for people who don’t take things to seriously. Nothing is this movie is realistic except for the recruiting part, but only partially. I just kicked back and enjoyed this classic military comedy and I really had fun watching it. A very good blu ray edition with really good visual quality. I’m happy with it. And I’ll probably watch over and over in the years to come. 🙂

Pauli Shore at his all time best.

Great Job finding the funny in the military.

Being an Army Infantry Vet, I absolutely love this movie. Got some things right but just love the humor in this movie. The "LINK" cameo is great for us Pauly Shore movie fans. Watch this at least twice a year, but quote it all the time.

Arrived new? Scratched

Just received. Was wrapped in plastic (plastic wrapping in photo), however when I opened it, there are so many scratches on the back! I haven't tried to watch it yet and honestly don't even know if I will. As you can see in the pictures, these aren't any you just wipe off.

A Pauly Shore Classic

After watching the movie 12 Strong, it reminded me of this movie, and I had to introduce it to my teenager. He loved it.

This is definitely a good movie to watch whenever you need a good laugh. Actually that could probably be said about any Pauly Shore movie. His characters' "wild and crazy" no-filter attitude is fun to watch.

glad it was cheap, hoping this would be similar to other Pauly Shore classic like Encino Man but it was actually a pretty bad movie.

Classic

It's a classic Pauly Shore comedy, and you can't beat a few laughs for this price. More than likely you won't find this DVD anywhere else unless it's been manhandled by a few family generations and won't play in the DVD player/Xbox anyway. Just buy it on here and get your own hard copy of a classic.
