This 100% pure coconut milk in aseptic packs with no stabilizers, thickeners, gums, or preservatives has won many awards for taste and quality. Unlike most of the coconut milk products available in the US, Aroy-D coconut milk is not diluted, which means no additives are needed. The product is packaged in modern paper cartons to eliminate the issue of BPA contamination that comes with packaging in cans. The shelf life is one year. Consistency is nice and creamy. The 8.5 ounce containers also mean less waste when recipes call for smaller amounts of coconut milk.

They clearly changed something because now it’s a solid block of who knows what. I poured it into another container hoping that if I mix it it might get a better texture, but it’s just terrible to look at. I can’t whip it, it’s awful in my coffee. I wish they would offer an explanation as to why they changed a product that was so great for so long.
I may have to start making my own coconut milk. Do not buy this product.
Creamy consistency like dairy milk. Perfect for coffee, hot cocoa, and baking. I've ordered a few times now, and product quality has been consistently good.
Unfortunately, my most recent batch seems to be bad. I thought it was the cold weather that caused separation and solidification when delivered, but no amount of shaking or hot coffee gets rid of the small chunks.
The difference in packaging caught my attention first - it came in it’s own cardboard box, and both sides of each carton is in English. So, it makes me wonder why the difference. Unfortunately, Amazon’s system doesn’t show me who the supplier is for my actual order. I know UV Alfalfa was this last time only because that cardboard box I mentioned had their sticker on. Now as I write this review, the supplier name has changed....all fulfilled by Amazon, but I would like to be able to track who actually has the good stuff.
Additionally, I have seen some reviews indicate that this milk is not actually gum free, which would make sense considering it’s typically so creamy.
It seems I may have to go back to blending my canned coconut milk from Natural Value.
