I have mixed emotions about this movie. On the one hand, it is a plot without the slimmest credibility; and frankly, a little hokey. On the other hand, I found myself thinking about 3/4 of the way through the movie, "What a blessed relief this movie is to watch. It is a welcome escape from the violence, sex, lewdness and bad language that is so prolific in today's movies--even children's movies." Overall, I appreciated the message the movie sent to families and children about sticking together and following your dreams even through pain and hardship. Yes, it was presented in a hokey way, but the wholesome message came across loud and clear.
