Purchased to add another three years warranty to my purchase. But guess what , the Asurion warranty starts as soon as it is purchased. Thus , my item had a two (2) year factory warranty, so I will be getting only a one (1) year extension, not three, for my product. Rip off !!!!

I purchased this protection plan for my Nespresso Coffee maker. My coffee maker began leaking and I went to file a claim. Asurion refused to fix my machine because they said I would need to go through Nespresso's warranty process first before they would help me. This defeats the purpose of buying a protection plan. Very shady and a waste of money

They sell extended warranties and not ones that cover your product from day of purchase.

I purchased a warranty from your company so I wouldn't have to deal with the manufacturer, now they don't answer the phone due to Colvid 19.
Per ASURION
"The protection plan is an additional coverage and it does not replace the warranty of the manufacturer.
This Plan is inclusive of the Manufacturer’s Warranty; it does not replace the Manufacturer’s Warranty. After the Manufacturer’s Warranty expires, the Plan continues to provide some of the Manufacturer’s Warranty benefits as well as certain additional benefits listed within these terms and conditions."
Amazon has lost all of my electronic and small appliance business due to this, I can go into any Brick-and-mortar store, buy the same item with a protection plan at the cash register and call for a full refund with the return and no "pass the buck" process.

I totally suggest you get insurance on your appliances, it is super worth it! our Keurig coffee maker stopped working after a couple of years and since I bought the 3 years insurance it was covered, I keep all my insurances in a separate folder in my email so they are easy to find, so i clicked on the start a claim and it took less than 30 seconds, i got a UPS label put the keurig in its box and when the UPS guy scanned it, I had a gift card in my email, super simple!

I bought this insurance for a bread maker. In the past, Azurion has come through for various products that broke out of warranty. In this case... not at all. I got the run-around. First, they tried to tell me I had to submit claim through the company even though I specified the item was damaged in an accident, not a manufacturer defect. After 3 calls and going through multiple reps, I finally got a shipping label. Three months later and still no refund! The original company finally came through with a refund (partly because I was initially confused over who issued the return label.. because Azurion had given me different answers).
Worse yet, when I complained through Amazon, their response was "OK, but we did not make the product." I mean seriously???? They did not even bother to READ my complain which made clear that I loved the product, just not the insurance coverage!!!!
Again... I have had good experiences in the past, but this transaction was a complete and utter fail!

The customer service reps at Asurion were very helpful when I called to say product hadn't arrived. Only when I looked at small print far down the info page on Amazon site did I find a disclaimer that documents would be delivered by email. This was very confusing. I haven't had to use the protection plan, so no review of the actual product. Either download or PDF to keep handy.

Asurion has proven themselves invaluable to us, first for our phone (defective battery) and now for my air fryer. Was still under product warranty- Asurion would not kick in until that was finished- but the company bailed and would not respond at all. Asurion stepped up and refunded the purchase price. I never make a big purchase without an Asurion warranty now.

I bought an electrical sharpener that a family used and caught the cable that caused it to chaff. After speaking to the manufacture they let me know that accidental damages were not part of my warranty, I reached out to Asurion and they quickly took care of my issue and allowed me to use the benefit I had bought to protect my equipment. It was a great purchase to protect my original purchase. Highly recommend you protect your purchases when possible.
