Broken Sparrow Audible Audiobook – Unabridged
A chance encounter. An unlikely hero.
Morris has always dedicated himself to his brothers in the MC, choosing the freedom of the open road over the monotony of family life. But a chance encounter with a single mother on the run causes his protective alpha instincts to kick into overdrive.
Alice Sparrow thought she had planned her escape perfectly, but everything that could go wrong, did. Bank account emptied. Broken-down car. No place to stay. But when she bumps into a handsome biker, she doesn’t have the luxury of walking away from his help, especially when she must keep her daughter safe.
What is supposed to be a simple act of kindness quickly turns into something bigger and more complicated than either expects...especially when it comes to matters of the heart.
Broken Sparrow is a steamy age-gap, single mother, hot biker stand-alone romance that's guaranteed to bring the steam and the feels.

I remember Morris from the book Flame and even then his charm, no matter how hardened his persona might be, was something special. He was special. And maybe it's because he is the VP that he knows how to take care of people, take care of business and take care of issues that may threaten those he cares about. With April on the run from her controlling husband, Morris goes right into full-on protection mode and nothing is sexier in this reader's eyes. I love his seemingly gruff nature that melts whenever Zoey is around. Or that he can be forceful when needed yet remain tender when his temporarily broken bird that is April needs a shoulder to cry on. Oh yeah, Bliss has created one swoon-worthy guy.
Most of the book deals with getting April and Zoey settled away from her evil husband, Jerry. But the unexpected happiness that results from a newly-formed unconventional family that includes his buddy Tiny's newly-found daughter Lia and her girl-crew of dogs, together with the wonderful young man in Leo made me smile as much as it did Zoey. I don't think when Morris woke up one day that within the span of a week he'd have an instant connection with so many strangers. But it was truly charming to witness and the bonus of a passion he has never truly had with another woman made all the crazy worth it.
My only thought as I finished this well-written book was that I could've used just a bit more angst when it came to Jerry. That part of the story wrapped up a bit too easily and cleanly for my tastes and I think I would've wanted more action when it came to his reckoning.
But overall, Bliss took her time in fleshing out these wonderful characters, which I really appreciated, and as the book came to a close, I felt as if I was also a part of this eclectic crew. I wouldn't mind more in the future since Leo is a stand-out as is Lia and her hippie ways. Their story would most assuredly be a great read as well.
4 solid stars!
I love the connection between Alice and Morris. They are so opposite but they fall hard and fast for one another.
The age gap between them...."Mama Mia" it just makes the sexy scenes even hotter!!!
Love that there's an eclectic mix of characters that give this story humor, drama, suspense and heartfelt moments. (Lots of those..SIGH)
Zoey!!! I love this kid, she's super sweet and funny and literary manages to wrap a big bad biker around her finger.
SO GOOD!!! love Broken Sparrow!
I love everything about “Broken Sparrow” from its endearing characters to the special bond that developed between Morris and Alice. I was hooked from the first page as I fell in love with Alice and Zoey as they sought refuge with Morris and his friends. Every scene was entertaining as Alice began to relax and Zoey could be a little girl again. Morris was determined to show Alice that she deserved to be treated like a Princess, too! He offered Alice and Zoey a family with friends old and new, and she wept with gratitude at his kindness.
When Alice embarked on her journey with her precious daughter she never imagined she would be saved by a mountain of a man whose tenderness and friendship gave her the courage to go on. “Broken Sparrow” is a positive and uplifting story which shows us all that in a time of darkness and despair, dreams really do come true.
Alice has not been lucky in love. She has a six-year old little girl named Zoey and Zoey's dad is not in the picture. Alice married a couple of years ago and now she is doing whatever she can to get away from him, as it's unhealthy for both she and Zoey. Now they are on the run and for a woman who doesn't trust easily, it's going to be a challenge.
Alice ends up encountering Morris at a gas station. He realizes she is struggling and the VP of the MC offers her help until she can get back on her feet. For some reason, she feels she can trust Morris even given the issues she's had with men in the past and Morris feels a connection to her that he simply can't explain.
Alice and Morris continue to grow closer as they deal with the danger that is her husband. The secondary characters in this book, including Zoey, Lia and Leo are as captivating as Alice and Morris and they just enrich the story that much more. I enjoyed this so much and it's one I'd definitely recommend picking up!

And with an insta love romance guaranteed to make you smile, a storyline full of feels and secondary characters who are just as enchanting as the main three this is a fantastic read, and I can't wait to read Broken Dove when it's released in 2022.
Would definitely recommend.
Ive had Chelle Bliss books before and really enjoyed them but this wasnt good, the only action in the entire book was the husband setting a fire that didnt do any real damage. Very boring total waste of £3.99
How could you not fall in love with Morris.
Absolutely loved the storyline between Morris and Alice. Loved the connection between them both. So, so glad Morris got his Happy ending like some of his other MC Brothers and so, so glad that Alice got to have her Happy ending with a guy who would worship her and lookout for her like she deserved.
Zoey was absolutely adorable and I can't wait to find out how Leo and Lias' story unfolds.
These five made a beautiful Family. Loved how Morris took Leo under his wing too.
