Yes! Strand does it again. What a joyride this book was. From one messed up situation to the next, this books keeps you turning the page because you just have to know what's going to happen next. I was getting a little worried for a minute there that this book was going to turn into a gore fest...which would have made me disappointed, but thankfully true to his usual writing there was just enough.

This was a great sequel to ‘Pressure’. I haven’t read the original for at least a decade, but it all came back to me in a heartbeat. It is a story that you plow through because it is so entertaining. It’s not my favorite Strand story… that goes to The Wolf Hunt trilogy and The Odds, but this was still a blast. Jeff is a consistent and reliable author. He is also my favorite in the horror-black comedy genre.
