I showed this to a group of 3rd and 4th graders. They enjoyed it very much. It was a little predictable, but safe for a school setting.

Highly recomended!
My son (18 months) LOVES this movie. It's the only movie he will watch to go to sleep. He gets so excited if we ask him if he wants to watch Aussie 😌 I would recommend this to ANY younger children. It teaches some good morals as well.. things like "if you truly love someone distance doesn't matter" and hoping a homeless man will one day find a home and that if you do somethig you know is wrong, it will eventually catch up to you. Wonderful movie!! 😍

Who are the animals on the DVD cover?
Let me start my saying the movie was harmless, the kids didn't hate it -not sure they really liked it -. NOW let me say you will not see a single animal (real or stuffed) that is pictured on the DVD cover. The 'family' that is pictured on the back -Dean Cain being the father- is in the movie, but the animals pictured are NOT... just a little confusing. There was a very quick one line that described why the dog was Australian, but I really don't think it added to the movie. I think the writers thought it would give it more interest. They were wrong. I would definitely never buy or recommend anyone purchase this. We rented it for 99 cents, and still feel a little cheated.
