The best Hallmark movie ever. I have watched Autumn Dreams and I not kidding 420 times since labor day. My granddaughter bought it for me to watch on my ipad, I have it recorded on two televisions and my sister bought me the CD movie. I watch it 4 to 6 times every day. This movie has me mesmerized. I love Colin Egglesfield so much. He has a smile that just won't quit and his eyes and voice is beyond compare. Hall Mark is the only channel I watch and I have watched every movie at least 10 times of more and have recorded my favorites. But I can't stop watching this one. I truly believe a follow-up could be written with Colin and Jill. I know they have said the same. Surely you have writers who could do this as a few other movies they made follow ups. You could write a Winter Dreams . We would like to know where they go from their marriage after all they waited 15 years to get together. If you had 100 stars that is what I would give this movie. I will never stop watching it. And please put Colin Egglesfield in more movies. He is a fantastic actor. Please hear my plea and make a 80 year old watched happy. Love you Colin and Jill. Beautiful young Iowa farmgirl Annie (Ivy Matheson) elopes with a young farmhand named Ben (Matt Visser), but Annie's father catches up with the young couple as they're leaving the church, telling them that they're both way too young to be hitched! He drives Annie home with Ben then taking a bus to the big city to seek his fortune. Jump ahead 15-years, with Annie (Jill Wagner) now engaged to marry Joe (Michael Karl Richards), before then receiving a letter informing her that her brief marriage was never properly annulled, meaning that she now has to fly all the way to New York City, where she once again runs into Ben (Colin Egglesfield), who's now a corporate big shot! Ben is supposed to marry society-girl Giovanna (Tasya Teles) that very weekend, and so he NEEDS to get divorced right away, but Judge Brown (Catherine Lough Haggquist) has other ideas, ordering the young couple to return to her courtroom the following week. Ben's likeable lawyer-friend (Matty Finochio) apologetically explains to Annie's that she's stuck in New York City for a few extra days, and so Annie finds time to do some fertilizer-research for the corporation, before then going wedding-dress shopping with Giovanna. Predictably, Ben & Annie get re-acquainted in their short time back together, with the old chemistry eventually re-asserting itself, with the two existing engagements both being near-simultaneously broken off. It was a cleverly-told story!

What's not to like about this movie? Have seen Jill Wagner in other Hallmark movies and always enjoy her performances. This is my first introduction to Colin Egglesfield's work. What a fine, talented actor he is. -- Need to see him in more Hallmark movies!! Got rid of cable -- not cost effected regarding my interests, and my PC connection is through my phone landline with limited streaming. So I buy dvds on occasion. With this movie and others like it, -- Yep, I'm a happy camper!!

I WATCHED THIS MOVIE ON THE HALLMARK CHANNEL. I LOVED IT SO MUCH I BOUGHT IT. I'M A BIG FAN OF JILL WAGNER. I WATCHED COLIN EGGLESFIELD WHEN HE WAS ON RIZZOLI AND ISLES ON THE TV SERIES. IT'S A GREAT MOVIE WITH A HAPPY ENDING. JILL AND COLIN'S CHARACTERS FELL IN LOVE AT A YOUNG AGE AND OVERCAME OBSTACLES IN THEIR LIVES.

Very touching movie, one of the better Hallmark movies where the "country/city" themes are less stark. There is also some room for chuckles as we watch the attorney struggle with the issues at hand. For incurable romantics, this is a very good movie. The acting was very well-nuanced, and I always say it is far harder to act out subtle issues than to just go for the loud, boisterous or violent. This movie is one that pretty quietly unfolds and may even bring a tear to the eye. We also see much less of the caricatures of the scheming, jealous "other woman" or competing male suitor.

I have loved this movie for a long time and finally decided to buy the DVD. Upon watching it, there seemed to be an underlying music score that played during some scenes and dialog. This was NOT part of the original movie and I found it to be distracting. I would love to know the reason for this. I was very disappointed

Of all the Hallmark movies I have watched through the years, this has to be one of my top that I have watched over and over and still enjoy.. Even bought it and that is rare for me to buy. I know it has been several years since it was made but would like to see Colin return and do a few more for Hallmark.

Could not wait until next Autumn for this to rerun on the Hallmark channel. I absolutely love it enough to watch it over and over again.
