A charming horse ranch themed light romance with a outstanding cast

This is so charming ! I love the charcters, the setting of the gorgeous horse ranch and of course the horses. This is a wonderful story of a young widow struggling to keep her beloved ranch and finally deciding to sell . She sells it to a visitor to the ranch who said he would not make any changes. Once he buys the ranch they become friendly but she has no idea he is planning to flip her ranch and make several changes against his word. By the time she is informed they have already become close and he learns the value of a home and decides to go in business with her instead of selling the ranch. It has a pleasing flow to this movie, it is so charming and a enjoyable movie to watch with charcters that are good actors.

Another Hallmark movie

I am not a fan or horses or ranches but I do like the cleanliness of most Hallmark movies. I now have the Hallmark channel and can watch a few movies that might have cost more by themselves. I thought the movie moved slowly but life moves that way. I did appreciate the beautiful scenery and Cindy did a great job with the sad parts. The actual premise was a good one. The main male character was never a bad person. He was misunderstood but I did like it when he changed his mind and she got to keep the ranch, find true love and do what she loved. I think a few people tried too hard to compare this movie to Heartland and also we have all viewed so many Hallmark movies with similar plots and truly the same kind of story can make things stale. However I will try to remember that there are many up and coming fans of Hallmark and they will probably appreciate this movie. I gave it a four taking one star away for the fart word! No seriously, It lacked something but over all it was a good story. Enjoy!!

Very Enjoyable

Although a few reviews have made reference to the series Heartland, due to the two main characters in Autumn Stables being characters also in Heartland and both settings are horse ranches... However, I am going to review Autumn Stables, not compare it to Heartland.... Beautiful ranch where this was filmed! My family absolutely enjoyed the movie and would recommend it to others. It's a very good, clean, wholesome, family friendly movie. Would have given 5 stars, but there were a few "lulls" during some speaking parts that just slowed it down too much, other than that - enjoyed.

Wishy Washy Story
Verified purchase
Movie begins with a duplicitous yuppie developer who wants to buy the property. He is all nice and "won't change anything" to get the sale. Of course he really wants to subdivide and add a bed and breakfast. None of this is mentioned to Cindy Busby to get her to sell to him. Then the movie tries to mellow his character and convert him into a suitor and love interest. The writer tried to have his cake and eat it too. Too cheap to get good vs a bad characters they rolled both into one and did so very ineffectively. Busby was fine. The actor's character was the big problem. Movie just does not work. Very disappointing.

No a bad movie to watch on a rainy day!

To be honest the acting was so so but overall it was a good movie. I watched it on a rainy and cold day under my warm sheets with some hot coffee and I enjoyed it very much. Its a romantic drama I would say a girly movie like my hubby would say! Maybe not my top 10 on the Hallmark channel but still a good watch!!

The acting/directing is unwatchable. Flat, boring, people trying to act. It's like watching the first season of a reality show where people are camera shy and don't know what they are doing.
