There's something fishy going on in Cranefish Town, and it's up to Aang, Katara, Sokka, and Toph to find out what, before the simmering conflict between benders and non-benders boils over into all-out war. But danger lurks where they least expect it, and uncovering the truth will reveal a threat unlike any they've ever faced--and a fateful choice for Aang he can never unmake!
Written by Faith Erin Hicks (The Adventures of Superhero Girl, The Nameless City) and drawn by Peter Wartman (Stonebreaker), in collaboration with Avatar: The Last Airbender creators Michael Dante DiMartino and Bryan Konietzko, this is the ultimate continuation of Avatar!

So imagine the pleasant surprise when I saw that a new writer and artist would take up the mantle of creating the ATLA comics. And boy, was it a breath of fresh air! The art is stunning and dynamic. The writing is subtle, quick in its humor, and poignant in its quiet moments. Sokka, who I felt had been reduced to the comic relief role in previous comics, has been restored as the brave and funny leader. Artistically, the eyes are so expressive and the lineart feels more organic.
I am so impressed with the Imbalance series. It makes me excited and hopeful that we will see more comics following the beloved Gaang, as created by Faith Erin Hicks and Eric Wartman.
