Be aware! Fake product. See photos. They look very different. I got 4 bottles. The contents of 3 bottles leaked. I called Aveeno customer service this morning and confirmed that they haven’t changed this product’s look since 2015. I called Amazon as well and the product is taken down for the moment. I have ordered this before with no issues. Whoever supplied this new version got the fake stuff.

KNOCK OFF- DO NOT BUY

I received a knock off. This is NOT Aveeno. The packaging is not correct for an Aveeno product as per the Aveeno company. I did not notice that it was a false product until after I bathed my 1 year old son with it. After I bathed him, I was reading his night time book, and smelled his hair- it smelled like vomit, NOT Aveeno. Which made me look into this. This product needs to be taken down immediately.

Gentle enough for newborns (see edit)

This saved my first child’s skin, but she was already 6 months old when we started using it.. Then I was pregnant with my second, I originally wanted the Aveeno Baby Daily Care Baby Gentle Wash since it is advertised as best for newborns, but I don’t think they have it here on Amazon Japan. I was nervous to try this on newborn’s skin but it worked great! Kind of makes me regret all those months that my first child suffered from dry and itchy skin.

Edit- for my second purchase, one of two pump bottles leaked

irritated my scalp

I didn’t intend to leave a review since Amazon already refunded me and I usually leave neutral to positive reviews on Amazon. How I think I have the responsibility to tell people why I had to return this shampoo. I am an adult and have using the shampoo twice, I got rashes on my scalp. It’s been weeks and the rashes have not gone! I’m so disappointed!

Good buy for the money, for all ages.

My youngest daughter has very sensitive skin, and though she is a teenager she uses this regularly to combat dry, itchy skin in the winter and to help keep her skin sensitivities down in the summer. She washes her hair with it, too. She likes that it doesn't weigh it down and leaves her hair very shiny.

Arrived broken and leaking :(

The pump nozzle had been popped up and the grommet was split apart. I cannot reassemble and fix. Plus, it arrived open so contamination is a concern. At least the plastic wrap contained the leakage, but I'm disappointed. I'll probably just toss it because I wouldn't use a product that was previously open especially on my kids.

Good for babies

So easy to use when is pump style. My lil one moves way too much and fast when we shower her. With the pump; I can at least hold her with one hand and get the soap with my other hand. No problem at all; and been using this brand since almost 3 years. Highly recommend.

DON'T WASTE YOUR TIME

The product came package well but after a couple of weeks of using it definitely not the ssme aveeno that you buy from the store. THE texture of it is way off even the smell is and I mean I bought it so I used it and I can say as far as using it as a shampoo on your baby hair it Strip my baby hair. So I will never buy any of these products again from Amazon I will go definitely straight to the store to buy.

Caused a rash and hives

I have used this product for years on my daughter who has multiple allergies and sensitive skin. Lately every time she takes a shower she breaks out in a red rash and hives. I’m not sure if the formula has changed but we won’t be using it anymore.
