4.0 out of 5 starsIgnore bad review about Politics.
This show is no more political than any other. The review which stated that the show state that all Republicans were transphobic is wrong. The character was talking about his republican family, not all Republicans. And Republicans must realize that their Senators and Representatives are working against Transgendered rights. If not, they are not paying attention. The show was fairly good, in that it is about a subject rarely talked about but which affects many, many people. Hard to turn this into laughs but the show does draw attention to the issue of kidney disease.

1.0 out of 5 starsSad and cringey
This is the worst show, like how can you make a show with so many hilarious and talented people and have it turn out soooo bad?! I watched it for Thomas Middleditch and Kether Donahue, they're such great actors and it made me sad to watch them in this. I wanted to laugh, I was desperate to laugh during this, but at no point was the opportunity to laugh or even smirk during this show given. The laugh track could have been okay, but it wasn't. So disappointing.

3.0 out of 5 starsMeh....
The cast is phenomenal, but the material is pretty mediocre. It's an interesting premise but just so badly executed. Every time they show a dialysis scene I cringe at the profound departure from reality. Beautiful, wealthy characters hanging out getting dialysis through taped tubes in there arms no unsightly fistulas in sight! And the dialysis buddies have no other health problems they are the healthiest of kidney failure patients.... I know it's a comedy but I can't really enjoy it for entertainment because it is so grossly inaccurate. Finally, the opening theme is irritating

5.0 out of 5 starsThe show really grew with me and it's topic!
I love that a sit-com is hitting a hard topic. Life and death illnesses are out there and it's really enjoyable to see the show make light of hard times. It reminds me of MASH (if you're old enough to remember). Lovely cast of characters that really grows through the episodes. I'm happy I've stuck it out. I wasn't sure in the first episodes, but I feel like they've found a real story to expand on. Yay!
