My name is Brian T Narro. I live in Montana with my talented wife, who designs and creates the badass covers of my books when she isn't working on her own children's books.
My newest novel is ACROSS THE FRAY. It's the fifth and final book in the Jon Oklar series.
My most recently finished series is the Jon Oklar series:
Book 1: The King's Sorcerer
Book 2: Hunted Sorcery
Book 3: The Path of Giants
Book 4: The Roots of Wrath
Book 5: Across the Fray
The most recently finished series before the Jon Oklar series is the The Stalwart Link:
Book 1: Echoes of a Fallen Kingdom
Book 2: A Bridge of Realms
Book 3: The Bones of Titans
Book 4: The End of Surrender
My other 17 fantasy novels all take place in the same world as each other, but the first book of each series introduces a new story. Because each series takes place after the previous series, some of the previous characters make small appearances while others find themselves heavily involved with new plots and protagonists.
You can start with any "Book 1" without missing anything important, but if you wish to start at the very beginning of it all and follow the progress of everything in order, I am putting a timeline of all my books at the bottom. Some other good starting places are with Kin of Kings or Awaken if you wish to try the most popular of my books first. You can always return to the beginning after finishing any of the more recent series.
I also love to hear from readers! Feel free to email me at brian@btnarro.com and visit my website at btnarro.com.

To take on everyone who opposes their king means mysteries must be uncovered. It means Jon’s people must regain the strength they lost after the betrayal. They will have to find support in places out of reach of their enemies, and fast. Soon the fray will ignite the fire that could destroy everything.
It wasn’t long ago that Jon came to the castle with seven other sorcerers desperate to prove themselves. While Jon considers many of them his friends, at least one might actually be his enemy.
Those plotting against the king are everywhere, most posing as ordinary citizens. During the hunt for these sorcerers, Jon will learn just how powerful his own sorcery can become, but at what cost? Sacrifices must be made no matter Jon’s choices. Whatever he decides to do, it has to be done quickly. The traitor in the castle is waiting for something, and no one seems to have any idea what it is.
Betrayal and suspicions among Jon’s trusted friends threaten to tear asunder their fragile plans. A chance encounter with a powerful, unknown mage from the enemy kingdom could shift the delicate balance in Jon’s favor. Can Jon look beyond his own suspicions and protect her long enough to earn the trust of his closest allies? Battles loom, forces are aligned, and help is in high demand.
Taking risks is pivotal, and the fate of Jon’s meager allies rests upon his decisions as never before. In Jon’s journey to bring peace and stability to the kingdom, he will first have to harness chaos.
A long time ago, Jon’s father was once a guard near the capital city. Now Jon finds himself back where his father used to work, and he’s beginning to learn why his father had wanted to raise him away from here. He will discover that, along with certain threats to the kingdom, there are also many magical arts to learn. Some seem stronger than others, but all have their use. Jon must come to understand the complexities of sorcery as he uncovers the mysteries and threats to the kingdom. But he also must learn to deal with the other sorcerers who have come to train at the castle at the same time as him...some of whom are hard to trust.
Hope is on the horizon, however, when hidden truths about sorcery are uncovered. From these discoveries, a new age will dawn: The rise and fall of legends. As Jon pushes himself to his limits, he will find himself right in the middle of it all.
There’s nowhere else he’d rather be.
Leo believes everything will change for the better when he begins work as a bookbinder and finally leaves the dreadful farm. He can apply for apprenticeship to the Bookbinding Guild upon his soon-approaching birthday.
Everything will change, but in ways their family would never expect. It all begins when Leo’s brother steals something that he should’ve left alone.
Leo’s life has been dismantled. Now with his father missing, he must rely on himself more than ever, but he’s still young. His older brother does what he can to help, but soon even Andar will rely on Leo to free them from this nightmare. The king’s army is taking over the city, against the wishes of every citizen, but there’s something special about Leo that might change everything.
Leo must grow up quickly to achieve his potential, but at a cost. He must join the very people who could destroy everything he cares about.
Leo faces many obstacles that stand in the way of destroying the rift, while Andar and Rygen encounter their own issues. Assistance comes in the form an expert mage who has reappeared after his disappearance many years ago, but some believe it was this mage who created the rift in the first place. There are strange things about him, but the strangest of all is that he appears to be the same age as when he disappeared twenty-three years ago.
As this mage involves himself with Leo and the plot to destroy the rift, Leo must quickly figure out how much he can trust this mage and how much he must rely on himself.
Andar must grow to become a true Ascendant if he is to have any chance of not only surviving but changing the fate of Aathon for good. Risks will be taken, battles will be waged, and sacrifices must be made. The time for surrender is over.
After managing to anger the entire Academy during his introduction, Zoke learns that behaving like a Krepp makes him more of an outcast with his new allies in Kyrro than he was with his own race. With his sister Zeti on the opposing side as the gruesome events of war unfold, soon the only thing the siblings have in common is a waning hope that they won’t see each other on the battlefield. But before a clash of unprecedented proportions can occur, something unheard of is discovered lingering deep below Tenred that may change everything.
But Cleve has never been one for delicacy.
