100% AS ADVERTISED! Protective and cool!

I bought this for my 50 yr old son who has a lawn service, and obviously, in the sun A LOT! I gave it to him yesterday. He was not particularly thrilled about the long sleeves but said he’d try it. He put it on and went about his work day. He texted me this morning asking me to order ANOTHER one! He normally wears an XL. I ordered a XXL. He liked the little bigger fit than normal making it easy to work in and no clinging. He liked the coolness.....better than sun hitting bare arms and no sunscreen. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

Good for the price.

Normally I wear Columbia but for the price, I thought I'd try these. It is a nice shirt but not as high quality as the Columbia. The neck fits a little tight for me. I'm 6'4" 235. I ordered xl and maybe should have ordered 2xl. Sleeves are long enough.
UPDATE: please note that this company has contacted me concerning my problem and has sent me a xxl shirt as compliments of them. Also they will take into consideration my complaint in their next update. Let me say that this is " going above the call of duty " in my opinion. Very seldom do any companies really seem to care about their customers. I will remember this kind act each time I wear this shirt. Thanks again for a company made up of working people that care about their fellow man and customer

Fun for the Sun

This SPF shirt was a welcome addition to when I'm doing yard work. The long sleeves provide the needed protection to prevent sunburns and is lightweight so there is not any additional heat generated. The moisture wicking is on par to get even the heaviest sweat taken care of.

Just a word of advice: if you are under the impression you are going to be significantly cooler wearing this or any other SPF shirt, then you will be disappointed. No shirt can cool you more than the environment it is in; it is just the reality you have to face. The moisture wicking properties will help get thee sweat off your skin quicker so it will in turn evaporate faster which will give you a noticeable cooling effect. This is just the reality. If a manufacturer is advertising their product as lowering the temperature, just move along.

Fits way to long and loose. I’m 5’9 175lbs and the large was too long. Also note you cannot put these shirts in the dryer, must be hung dry. I put one in the dryer and the stitching started to come out and stretch out so I returned the shirt. Still not bad for the price

the shirt is great, my husband needs UV shirts after his kidney transplant to block sun rays due to his
suseptibility to increase sunburn risk due to antirejection meds.
However, whoever does the packaging for mailing needs to be more careful. Fortunately I shook pkg
down before slitting top of mail bag. The nice plastic bag shirt was sealed in, was
stuck in the sticky portion of mailer & the corner was cut. We would have been disappointed & sad
to return the nice shirt because it would have been cut!!!! Watch out pkg people!

Green river/ Canyonlands tough....

These shirts just spent a week on the green river in Canyon Lands NP with my Boyscout of a son. He used each shirt 3 days each and besides needing a good wash they held up great. The material prevented him from burning even though they were in direct son on the water for 6 days straight. He felt they kept him cooler than not wearing them due to there wicking ability and how fast they dried. He camps twice a month and will be using these so we will update how they wear as we go along.

I made the mistake reading some of the reviews and suggestions on sizing. I am typically a medium, however, I sized up from reading the reviews. The large is a little to baggy. I will be buying a medium on my next order. The shirts are very light. I live in south Texas. In 80 degree sunny weather it was not too heavy and no overheating for me. I also purchased the lighter colors light blue, light gray and lime green.

Update: while I do not use this shirt for swimming at all, it is my favorite for mowing the lawn and trimming. It blocks the sun well without getting too hot.

Get's heavy and does not breathe too well. Description lists it for swimming, but it does not work as well as the bigger brand name swim shirts, basically a walmart long sleeve moisture wicking shirt.
