Tim Waggoner’s first novel came out in 2001, and he’s published close to fifty novels and seven collections of short stories since. He writes original fantasy and horror, as well as media tie-ins. His novels include Like Death, considered a modern classic in the genre, and the popular Nekropolis series of urban fantasy novels. He’s written tie-in fiction for Supernatural, Alien, Grimm, the X-Files, Doctor Who, A Nightmare on Elm Street, and Transformers, among others. His articles on writing have appeared in Writer’s Digest, Writer’s Journal, and Writer’s Workshop of Horror. He’s won the Bram Stoker Award and been a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award, the Scribe Award, and the Splatterpunk Award. In addition to writing, Tim is also a full-time tenured professor who teaches creative writing and composition at Sinclair College.

Frazer Lee’s debut novel, The Lamplighters was a Bram Stoker Award® Finalist for ‘Superior Achievement in a First Novel’.

One of Frazer’s early short stories received a Geoffrey Ashe Prize from the Library of Avalon, Glastonbury. His short fiction has since appeared in numerous anthologies including the acclaimed ‘Read By Dawn’ series.

Also a screenwriter and filmmaker, Frazer’s movie credits include the award-winning short horror films ‘On Edge’, ‘Red Lines’, ‘Simone’, and the critically acclaimed horror/thriller feature (and movie novelization) ‘Panic Button’.

Frazer lectures in Creative Writing and Screenwriting at Brunel University London and Birkbeck, University of London. He resides with his family in leafy Buckinghamshire, England where (when he’s not getting lost in a forest) he is working on new fiction and film projects.

Joanna Parypinski is a college English instructor by day and a writer of the dark and strange by night. Her work has appeared in Black Static, Nightmare Magazine, Haunted Nights (ed. Adam Millard is the author of twenty-six novels, thirteen novellas, and more than two hundred short stories, which can be found in various collections, magazine, and anthologies. Probably best known for his post-apocalyptic fiction, Adam also writes fantasy/horror for children and Bizarro fiction for several publishers. Michael Arnzen (http://gorelets.com) is an award-winning author of horror and dark suspense fiction, a poet, and an English professor. His trophy case includes four Bram Stoker Awards and an International Horror Guild Award for his often funny, always disturbing stories. Lisa Morton is a screenwriter, author of non-fiction books, award-winning prose writer, and Halloween expert whose work was described by the American Library Association's READERS' ADVISORY GUIDE TO HORROR as "consistently dark, unsettling, and frightening". When I was still a child and picked up my very first Goosebumps book by R. L. Stine, I knew I'd fallen head over heels in love with all things horror. It's a love affair that has only grown stronger over the years, a borderline obsession with stories that explore the darkest recesses of the human imagination. I guess you could say I'm like Thorny Rose in that way...always stalking down those special stories that have the ability to invoke a creepy-crawly feeling right down in the marrow of my bones.

As I grew older I discovered the work of some of my biggest inspirations like Stephen King, Edgar Allan Poe, H.P. Lovecraft, Clive Barker...and the work of those authors sent me deeper down the path of the macabre. During my teenage years I had the little tradition of reading Stephen King's The Stand each summer to lose myself in the devastation of the superflu and marvel at the sadistic magnetism of Randall Flagg.

I've devoured horror fiction for as long as I can remember and reading the words weaved by the greats of the genre inspired me to begin writing. I wanted the opportunity to tell my own tales with the intent to terrify, to disturb; to capture the morbid curiosity of the reader just as my own was caught so early on in life.

If I've managed to inspire some of those feelings in you, my readers, then I feel that I've accomplished something just a little bit magical. There's still some magic left in this world, and I think it's most powerful when manifested in the form of words scrawled across many blank pages. Granted any magic contained within my work will be of the dark variety...but I wouldn't want it any other way. ;)

I live in Martinsburg, West Virginia with my little old pug Cerberus. When I'm not writing, I enjoy hiking mountain trails, weight training, getting tattooed and being a garden variety introvert in his late 20s. Oh, and reading too (duh).

Lisa Mannetti's debut novel, THE GENTLING BOX, garnered a Bram Stoker Award and since then she has won the award for short fiction and has been nominated five additional times for the award in both the short and long fiction categories. Her work has been translated into Italian, and her story, "Everybody Wins," was made into a short film by director Paul Leyden starring Malin Ackerman and released under the title Bye-Bye Sally. "Dissolution" (a Bram-Stoker nominated novella in her collection, DEATHWATCH) will soon be a feature length film also directed by Paul Leyden (Come Back to Me, The Factory).

Recent short stories include two Bram Stoker-nominated tales, "The Hunger Artist" in Zippered Flesh II (February, 2013); "Arbeit Macht Frei" in the anthology, GUTTED: Beautiful Horror Stories (2016); and the Stoker Award winning short story, "Apocalypse Then" in NEVER FEAR: THE APOCALYPSE (April 2017).

She has also authored THE NEW ADVENTURES OF TOM SAWYER AND HUCK FINN (new adult and YA editions from Smart Rhino Publications), two companion novellas in DEATHWATCH, (new edition Nightscape Press, December 2013), a macabre gag book, 51 Fiendish Ways to Leave your Lover, (Bad Moon Books, Feb 2010) as well as non-fiction books, and numerous articles and short stories in newspapers, magazines and anthologies.

Her novella about Houdini, THE BOX JUMPER has won the 2015, "This is Horror Award" and was nominated for both the Bram Stoker and the Shirley Jackson Awards.

She is currently working on several longer works including a historical, paranormal novel, RADIUM GIRL about the dial painters tragedy in the post WW I era.
