4.0 out of 5 stars Meets new Theme Park stroller requirements ;)
By Booknerd28 on May 28, 2019
Okay, so bear with me...I took a ton of pictures to try to help out and explain the different features of the stroller, but some turned out a little blurry thanks to a toddler being under my feet.

1) This might not be a big deal for most, but this stroller meets the new stroller restrictions at a certain theme park with a mouse mascot! I've attached a pic with a tape measure proving it's passes.
The "Mouse House" just released new restrictions on stroller sizes and a lot of double jogger strollers are too wide to pass. According to their new rules, stroller can't be wider than 31 inches. The specs for the 3.0 BOB claims 30.5 inches, but more like 30.8...still under 31 though, so it's usable in the parks! We're planning a trip for when our kids are 2.5 and 6-9 months, so a stroller is a must. We had been debating on just bringing our one compact single stroller and baby carrying the infant, but now we can just bring this stroller and have 2 comfy kiddos!

2) This stroller has options fix tracking (if stroller tends to veer to one side or the other) and different shock settings (one for kids 50+ pounds and one for smaller kids). This pretty much ensures the most comfortable ride for kids and ease of pushing for the parent.

3) This stroller has varying shade options. While I wish the shade wouldn't be attached at the back, you can still get pretty much full coverage with these shades. There are basically 3 shade options...near full shade, regular shade, and barely any shade.

4) Ventilated peek-a-boo windows. This might not seem like a big enough deal to spend the extra money on the 3.0 vs the 2.0, but we live in South Louisiana and in the summer time, ANY amount of extra air circulation you can generate helps. I've found with another stroller we have, that placing a portable stroller fan on the outside of the shade, pointed through the mesh ventilation helps keep my kid cool (he insists on sticking his fingers in the fan blades if it's clipped to the front of the stroller).

5) Closing the stroller does require a little bit of practice, coordination, and strength. I'm currently 28 weeks pregnant and it's difficult for me to close on my own (but it is doable). To close/fold the stroller, you pull the levers on the sides of the handlebars (under height adjustment buttons). This folds it for the first part. Then you have to unbuckle the red strap that's attached to the bottom basket and pull the red pull lever that's on the back of the seats (see pics, I tried to explain the best I could). Once closed, you use the wrist strap on the handlebars to buckle it to a black buckle on the bottom basket to secure it for toting/placing in car, etc.
It's not extremely difficult, but does take practice.

6) The folding of the stroller leads me to my next point....this thing is pretty heavy :\ Honestly though, I'm not sure how they could make it much lighter without losing some of the great features that makes this a great running stroller. I'm willing to sacrifice it being awkward and heavy, meaning I'll need my husband's help to transport most likely (especially while pregnant), to having the smoothest possible ride while jogging.

7) Pockets/storage. This thing is choc full of them! This is great for someone like me (my husband thinks I'm an over packer, but never seems to complain when I pull out something useful that he never thought of from the diaper bag).
See pics for references, each child's seat has a net pocket on each side of them so they can have their sippy cup and snack or toy. There's a small zippered pouch behind each seat that's great for parents' things, like phone, ID, etc. Then there are 4 total long skinny net pockets behind each seat....these are a good size for water bottles, change of clothes, park maps for zoo's etc. My only complaint about these is that I wish there wasn't a seam down the middle and they were instead just 2 big pockets, but not a deal breaker by any means.
And lastly, there's the big storage basket on the bottom of the stroller. This space is quite large, but my big complaint about this one is that there's a black strap that you can't undo that goes down the middle of the basket on the outside (see pic), so this makes it a bit cumbersome to get my overstuffed backpack diaper bag in and out.

8) Seat padding: Is it worth the upgrade to the 3.0 for the padded seats? That's up to you. Will your kid suffer tremendously without it? No, they'll be fine. Is it a nice option to make them as comfortable as possible, especially if your for a long outing? Yes.
The cushion goes all along the seat, even down to where their calves rest, and there's extra lumbar padding. It's really quite impressive.

9) Adjustable handlebar height: This is a thing of amazement for my husband. He always has to make do with everything being to short or small for him and his 6'3" frame. Now he can adjust them to a height that's comfortable for him to push for long periods and run with, and with the push of two side buttons on the handlebars, I can easily bring it back down to a height that's easy and comfortable for me to push (although this is rarely an issue for me as I'm an average height woman that most baby related things cater to).

10) The lock/swivel wheel is a must for me. I know the "locked" wheel position is supposed to give the kids the smoothest ride and be easiest to push, but that just doesn't work for me in our neighborhood. Our neighborhood does not have straight streets, they curve and wind a lot, and it's just too hard for me to pull back on the stroller while running to turn or correct my path (I'm a runner, I'm all legs....poor upper body strength). The little latch/lever on the front wheel to lock and unlock to put into "swivel" mode is SUPER easy. There's nothing to it.

11) The nipple on the wheels are much more conveniently located, according to my husband. We've found that our single graco jogging stroller looses air pretty quickly so the tires need air added to them about every other week. He said the front wheel on the graco is a pain to get to and attach the air compressor to. This one is much easier to get to without him banging his knuckles around on things by trying to fit his giant man hands in.

12) Actually running/walking with this stroller: OMG, it's like a dream! It GLIDES! Granted, right now my kid doesn't weigh a whole lot (less than 24 pounds), but this is way easier to push with just him in it than my single jogger. Also, on that note, there's no noticeable pull with just the one kid in it (still pregnant with #2).

13) Seat incline: does not lay all the way flat (see pic of my son in it, that's on the furthest recline). Will still work for naps, but a full flat recline for infants would be nice. The seats to recline independently of each other, so you can have one reclined for a sleeping kid or infant, and the other one upright for an older child. It's really easy to adjust the seats with a strap at the seat back.

I really don't have too many negatives on this stroller. It really is amazing. It would be nice if it had a car seat adapter for my Max Cosi infant seat, but I got an infant head/body support to use with it.

The reason I took one star off because it's quite heavy and a little hard to close and the middle strap on bottom basket is really inconvenient for quick stowing of a full sized diaper bag.

Even with those few negatives, though, I would ABSOLUTELY recommend this stroller. No stroller is going to be 100% perfect, but this one comes really close to it.
