A long time ago I was born in Los Angeles. That’s where I spent many of my formative years. After I became an adult, I moved around for a bit before ending up in a small town in Oregon, very similar to Bailey’s hometown. Greenhearth is fake, if you haven’t already Googled that, but it’s like many small towns with less than 1,000 people.

My pets…

I love animals, especially my two even if they do create havoc in my daily life. I have a cat, named Snowstorm, Storm for short. Then I have a rescue, Josephine. She’s a Labradoodle – I think. It’s hard to say but it’s the best I can come up with.

What I’m working on…

I’m already working on the next book in the series – was working on it before Bad Attitude came back from editing. And now that it has released, need to stay on track with A Bit Aggressive.

I have to say I nearly put this book down. The characters seemed one dimensional--more caricatures than actual people. Reactions were not believable and the story took a while to get moving. The crazy is more crazy than humorous. Things picked up in the middle and I was impressed by the way the two listened to and supported one another in the big battle. I consider them two-dimensional now and have hope things might continue to improve in the next book.

Fun characters, 2 strangers from different worlds, both being chased, end up in an action filled book. Yes, it’s a first in a series so the beginning is a touch slow as it introduces each person, but it amps up the speed and action before you get bored. Looking forward to the next.

Too much detail given to people and conversations that have no bearing on the story, and generally unlikable characters with unbelievable interactions with other townies. Perhaps it gets better further in to the story, but I guess I need a hook before 30 percent.
