The final entry in the Bad Game series had some good and some bad. It was interesting to see how the Lamberts' lives had fallen apart, unlike in movies where everyone is just fine after horrible trauma. Caleb is a really interesting character, struggling with his demons.

However, the author makes a huge retcon to the first novel. There was never any indication or mention of the Fanelli brothers filming their exploits. It's obviously a huge thing for them in this book so one would assume it would've been mentioned earlier. Clearly, the author wanted to continue the series and made some creative changes to make it happen. The ending was a bit messy after the final fight. The story added unnecessary twists and turns that it didn't need.

Overall it's been a decent but seriously flawed series.

This sequel was typical of Menapace's Bad Games serials. This one was only average, though. Jeff was onto something showing us the broken lives of The Lamberts, but the resolve was too short. The book was escalated and wrapped up in the last 15% of the book. I'd love to see something more from Jeff, though, hopefully he'll put this series to rest! (There's a couple of BAD abuse scenes, this could be a trigger to some). Oh, before I forget, kudos to Jeff for the Jim and Arty video of the old couple--- good writing, truly merciless.

Thinking if the Lambert' s didn't have bad luck, they would have no luck at all. Nice twists and turns kept me reading and hooked on Psychopath just like every book in the Bad Games series. It seems like even in death, the Fanelli bros were immortalized, nice job Jeff! Way to keep us on the edge wondering is this the end for real this time? Thank you for tying up the loose ends from the previous books and leaving us wanting more. Can't wait to see what's next for the Lambert' s or at least Caleb.

Jeff Menapace did a superb job bringing us into the future of the Lambert family. Instead of wondering what happened to them after all the killing, mayhem, and gory developments, we find them living the dysfunctional lives we expected. This book doesn't quite have the same level of suspense as the prior Bad Games books, but is entertaining and insightful. I highly recommend you read the entire Bad Games series - nobody does it better than Mr. Menapace.

I loved all 5 of the "Bad Games"books. You could possibly read this book as a stand alone, but I would recommend reading all 5 of the books in order. Once you get a taste of Jeff's writing you'll want more. Jeff always states that his goal when writing is to entertain. I truly hope this isn’t the last of this series or characters as I fricken love them. The entire series was amazing, this book did not disappoint. Plenty of action & suspense. The first 4 books are really necessary to be able to connect with the family. I wanted more about the family and less about the new killers learning their "craft". Didn't like the redundancy of Arty & Jim's tapes and then Andy & Charlie duplicating the killings. Overall did like the final book of the series and especially liked the twist at the very end. Possibly a new series will branch off from here......

A gripping and enjoyable finale to the Bad Games series with the Lambert family once again victims of psychopaths intent on their demise. Followers of this collection will be aware of the suffering this family has been through and how they have each been effected and we soon learn just how deeply.
A great plot and the new killers are actually fun to read! As bad as they are we're made to feel for them as victims themselves early on so at some points we're actually routing for them.
What's next from Jeff Menapace? He writes an excellent psychotic killer so I hope there's another story on its way.
